Heartbroken by what happened to Fantine as a new mother. While watching the movie, I didn't notice whether she was reunited with Kessette, and when I flipped out the e-book, I found that Fantine hadn't even seen her daughter for the last time.
And when I think of the look on her face when she sold her teeth, she has no hesitation, sacrificing herself completely for the 40 francs for her daughter, I feel my heart is broken.
France has those tragic stories, as does China today.
My wish: to be a philanthropist and to help people in poverty and suffering.
I haven't watched the other versions, but the actors' acting skills in this version are still in place, the lines are classic, and every shot has its meaning.
Impressed by Jean Valjean's character. Holy and selfless.
