"Heaven" was conceived by him before his death, and he planned to shoot Dante's "Divine Comedy" trilogy, of which "Hell" was a huge success, and the adaptation of "No Man's Land" won an Oscar. Best Foreign Language Film. Paradise is directed by German director Tim Tykwer.
Before looking at it, there were many unobjective opinions. Kieslowski was too advanced, Tim Tykwer was too weird, and Dante's works were very broad. What would the combination of the three look like? Will it be an abstract expression of esoteric life themes? I'm terrified of such movies.
But after watching it, I found the whole movie very attractive, I liked it very much, and I was very moved.
This is a story about "rescue" (the basic theme is redemption), PHILIPPA's husband and many students were caught in drugs and lost their lives, many years later, PHILIPPA reported to the local police station by phone and letter to get their attention And fight against drug dealer VENDICE. But the drug dealer was a high-ranking police officer himself. After the death of her husband, PHILIPPA couldn't bear it any longer, so he made a homemade bomb and put it in VENDICE's office, but unexpectedly, the bomb was put into a garbage bag by the cleaning staff at the last moment, and the garbage truck was pushed into the elevator.
The local police believed that PHILIPPA was a member of a terrorist organization, only the translator FILIPPO believed her and helped her plan a very clever escape plan.
Actually, I don't hate words like "salvation" or "redemption", I hate that the word has been said badly. Anyone in the real world is a process of "saving", and this process is very moving and very happy. A little lonely self-help, a little noble to save others, a little powerless to wait to be rescued, there is a "sea" everywhere, and the LOST in the soul is the most boundless sea.
PHILIPPA almost crashes at this point.
This kind of plot makes us seem familiar. The "rescue" process in American blockbusters is always hearty, but there is no such feeling in this movie. Playing a game of cat and mouse with the police is not its original intention. What stands out is its music. Even when it comes to a big manhunt or a dangerous moment, there is no background music that rises with it. It is always a low and low piano sound.
Tim Tykwer's "Lola Run" and "The Princess and the Samurai" are actually similar to "Paradise". "The Princess and the Samurai" seems to be telling the story of a couple who are desperate, but I don't seem to understand it. The world is changing with each passing day, and it is better to be simple in the movie, too much bells and whistles will make people get lost.
The protagonists of the film are all taciturn people, there is not much dialogue, the communication in the early stage is through a tape recorder, and the communication in the later stage is through a voice-over. There is a sentence that is very impressive,...then we will think what to do next ,because I belive there wil be something and it will be beautiful
PHILIPPA's answer to this is: I agree. It's
good to grow up, it's good to see the world a lot, and it's good to open your eyes, but will you understand a lot of things in the world and discover everything? Generalized, does it matter? At least the movie has another advantage, it makes you believe that there is something BEAUTIFUL in front of you at least for a while, instead of ceased to belive in sense, justice and life,
