Lust night from Finland

When it comes to Finland, what is the first intuitive reflection this beautiful Nordic country gives you?

Is it a highly developed technology represented by Nokia?
Or the iconic lake with the reputation of the country of a thousand lakes?
Is it the ice skater Little Manning, the tall and brave Hypia?
Or maybe a rock star like Nightwish or HIM?

There may always be a lot of figurative symbols in your mind, but you certainly can't think of the characters associated with this country's movies. Compared with other Nordic countries, there are indeed not many "national treasures" characters in Finnish movies. They don't have Ingmar Bergman, they don't have Dreyer, they don't have Lars von Trier. They do have Aki Kulismaqi, but the apparent lack of fame and achievement of the Finnish director known as the "Crimson Comedian" still doesn't make him into the hallmarks.

However, after watching the trilogy series "Sea of Indulgence", which reflects the love series of modern men and women in Finland, you may sigh that there is more than one Aki in Finland. At least the director of the series, Aku Loomis, should not be underestimated. This up-and-coming director who graduated from the Helsinki Academy of Arts and studied in the United States really has two brushes.

In fact, I was fortunate enough to watch the third episode of the "Sea of Desires" series as early as last year. At that time, I got a Zhongsheng D5 who made a name for himself in the D world by producing literary and artistic films. I'm not afraid of everyone laughing when I say it. At that time, it was treated as a low-cost, small-production erotic movie, and it was hurriedly swept away in a fast-forward manner, just like the heroine cheating in the bathroom with the hero. Maybe it's because of a bad attitude. I don't think there is anything magical about this film. It just tells the story of a erotic entanglement between a strong businesswoman who loves one-night stands and a child of a rich rich family. It's old-fashioned and boring. Although there are quite a lot of sex scenes, they are obviously unreliable compared with pure H films. So, at the time, this piece was quickly thrown aside by me.

It wasn't until history turned to today, when I saw 1 and 2 for two consecutive nights, that I realized how absurd it was to treat 3 at the beginning. Or it can be understood that 1 and 2 are really good. In 1, the male protagonist Ali is a natural player, and his occupation is an ambulance doctor in the hospital emergency center. But in his spare time, Ali likes to watch movies and go to bars for entertainment. Every time Ali attracts women of all kinds with his keen instinct and personal charm like a hunter, and then goes to his residence for a one-night stand. Ali strictly abides by the rules of the game. In order not to hurt these women, he completely follows the principle of "break up after dawn" and will never answer the second call from these people. Until he met Tina, Ali tried to change himself under the chasing of enthusiastic Tina, but found that he was more and more caught in a dangerous game and couldn't extricate himself... The story began. In 2, the male protagonist Aki is a rock-hard and rough-looking man. After losing his wife, he lives with his children. Mira is an open-minded but kind-hearted woman. She is often unemployed and always worried about her livelihood. The two met in a bar, but developed a sincere emotion. However, behind the beautiful surface, what hidden secrets are hidden?

In 1, the man represented by Ali once had a simple ideal: to have a certain material basis, find someone to love each other, and then live together. In the end, however, Ali became a slave of desire. In the game again and again, Ali did not get the satisfaction he deserved. He was always wandering in sadness and loss, and emptiness grew in his body like wild weeds. So I can only let uncontrollable desires wander in the bodies of various women, hoping to use a moment of tenderness to sweep away this endless sense of nothingness. The appearance of Tina did not change all of this at all. This woman brought him into her own circle and tried every means to win his heart. Even conceive a child for him, but it can't change the rock-like Ali. On the contrary, Ali was seduced by Tina's two girlfriends and played a familiar game again. The director used naked sex to ruthlessly satirize the desolate spiritual homeland of modern people after losing their faith. In Chapter 2, we can no longer see the exaggeration of constantly changing sexual partners, but behind the loyalty and betrayal, we quietly peep into the interweaving of lies and deception, as well as the indescribable variety of life. Perhaps life itself is impermanent, and people can only choose how to fill it or how to end it, but never choose the beginning.
