Although it is a science fiction film, the Chinese name is translated very modernly. However, the story still contains a lot of things from the Bible (in fact, the English name originally told a story in the Old Testament of the Bible), especially the birth process of riddick, which is too similar to Jesus.
The special effects of the film are not outstanding, especially the bosses of all the planets are designed to be human. Instead of all kinds of intelligent creatures (even the elemental ones are mainly humanoid). However, the actors' performances and the tense plot structure have also achieved another balance.
