I watched Pride and Prejudice today and it was great. From the beginning I was fascinated by the beauty of the medieval English countryside and the beautiful dresses of the girls. The entire film is shot to perfection. And I was especially blown away by the hero Darcy. At the beginning of the dance, his melancholy and restrained temperament appealed to me (though the girls didn't all hate his arrogant affection). He fell in love with Elizabeth, but was ashamed to speak. The way he was about to confess to her for the first time was very cute. Then in the quarrel in the rain due to misunderstanding, the expression of his fiery emotions is all heart-warming. He's charming enough to be forgiven for his arrogance (the truth is he's so humble in front of the girl he loves!). He was like her, proud and stubborn. And then it's love that makes them let their guard down. Fortunately, it was a happy ending, otherwise I would condemn Eli's pride. Meeting such a good man should not be missed.
