This is a simple little love song

Decades ago, "When Sally Met Harry" (I hope I'm not wrong, Emma), "Sleepless in Seattle", "Notting Hill", "Mystery Garden"...all the romances are complete Movie, 2 hours.

Modern Love got shorter, each episode was only 30 minutes in length.

But luckily the love is still there. When I watched those old movies a few days ago, I was still thinking, how come there are no more movies of this type. Fortunately it's still there. Although it got shorter.

This is perhaps my most immediate understanding of modern love.

——

New York is perhaps the best place to show modern love. People who live in this city are so... fashionable maybe not right, refined maybe wrong... so leading sense. Their love often has this quality too.

But New York is also a city with history, so love too, it has its own history, it is an inheritance. It is not a flower that blooms out of thin air.

Love is the city's zoo, the city's natural history museum, the city's apartments, subways, parks. It's ubiquitous, stale, but always fresh.

I can't say whether I look forward to love here because of New York, or I like New York more because of love.

——

As for the story itself, which one is my favorite?

Probably the first one. Every love story has its extreme side, and the first one seems to be no exception. But it seems to be the most common one.

But it could also just be because it's the first.

I finished the first story at four in the morning. Like many people, I fell in love with the janitor. I love his last few words, "I didn't pay attention to the boys, all I saw was your eyes."

——

The big fusion at the end, old-fashioned, but not obnoxious.

why. Maybe because of the rain.

Maybe it's because of the rain in New York.

I can't forget New York in the rain either. Especially in the fall.

I still remember when it rained that year, a strange NYer greeted me:

"It's cold today, isn't it?"

But there was warmth written on her face.

——

The last rain reminds me of Sodagreen's little love song.

This is how it sings:

  • You know even if it rains
  • Turn the city upside down
  • i will hug you
  • can't stand looking at it
  • your back is coming
  • Write down my seconds like years
  • hard to endure

...

This is somewhat upside down.

Mistakes Taipei for New York.

But who knows.

a rainy city,

Love will always breed.
