Science fiction that can't keep up with the times

Like "star wars", the first three films of "Superman" are 20 years old (the first step of star wars is even close to 30 years old) science fiction movies. At that time, our imagination of sci-fi was limited, and calling all over the place was classified into the category of sci-fi. So that's when Superman impressed us.

Now the audience's tastes are much more critical, we not only require science fiction films to surpass personal imagination in terms of vision and plot, but also require an acceptable interpretation of the cause and effect or "principle".

Superman Returns has quite a bit of trouble with this. On the one hand, the director must continue the continuity in style, characters, development and special effects with the three works of 20 years ago, and on the other hand, he must also deal with the fussiness of modern audiences for sci-fi movies. It should be said that the director has done a relatively good job in the former, but it is obviously stretched to deal with the latter.
It's hard for Bryan Singer, it's more accurate to say that the character of Superman is not up to date with the times rather than the fact that this "Superman Returns" is not up to date.
In contrast, the cartoon "The Incredibles" is much more exciting.

Actor's performance:
Superman: The actor who plays Superman is well selected in terms of appearance, and has the style of Superman back then. But after watching it for a long time, it gives a very unreal feeling, very similar to the characters in 3D animation, even the hair is hard. I wondered how the details could not be captured in real-life shooting. This should have a lot to do with the makeup artist.
Heroine: So-so.
Superman's Son: General. I feel that if this film develops this character a little bit, it will bring people more expectations. What do you think—Little Superman!
The villain Luthor: Wonderful! The performance of Luther's role is the only highlight of the whole film in the actor's performance, which can be said to be quite outstanding.

trick:
Not as visual as Spide Man; less artistic than "The Fifth Element"; less imaginative than "The Matrix"; less dramatic than "The Day After Tomorrow"; less powerful than '96's "Independence Day"; less realistic By the way - the shot of walking out of the burning wreckage naked is not as good as Terminator.

Verdict:
If you want to have fun and enjoyment from sci-fi, Superman Returns isn't worth two hours of your time. If you want to be nostalgic, you can check it out. Okay.

What to expect:
A live-action film from the animated film The Incredibles.

    1. The quality of the film is too mediocre, and Shi Paixi did not play his acting skills at all; the movie didn't even have a climax at the end of the film, and it was over after half an hour of talking? What about the boss fight? 2. Superman, this superhero is too high and complete. He flies to the sky and escapes with supernatural power, laser-breathing fire and ice. . However, the lack of character and lack of ability may not necessarily be loved by the audience.

What bird movie is inexplicable. 2 and a half hours dragging the plot.

Superman Returns quotes

  • Lex Luthor: [while kicking Superman] Didn't your dad ever teach you to *walk* before you *leap*?

  • Jimmy Olsen: [leans over an unsuspecting Clark who is holding a family photo of Lois, Jason, and Richard] Ha, yea! He looks just like his mom. Already takes after her too, especially when it comes to getting into trouble.

    Clark Kent: [obviously confused] Mother?

Jimmy Olsen: Oh yea, well I guess you've been gone. Fearless reporter Lois Lane is a mommy.

Clark Kent: [cracks the glass and winces] I'm sorry.

Jimmy Olsen: [takes the picture from Clark] It's okay. She's got plenty of them.

    Clark Kent: She's married?

Jimmy Olsen: Yeah, well no, its more of a prolonged engagement, but don't ask Miss Lane when they're tying the knot because she hates that question
