The story takes place in the United States in 1931, "Prohibition" still exists, and gang boss John makes his fortune.

The protagonist of the story is not the elderly godfather "John", but his adopted son and number one helper Mike, and his eldest son, little Mike.

Mike is a murderous gangster outside, but at home he is a good husband and a good father. Little Mike doesn't know what his father does.

At a memorial party, the deceased brother Finn was dissatisfied with John, but was pushed out the door by Mike and John's son Connor.

So one rainy night, Mike and Connor went to find Finn.

And on this night, little Mike decided to secretly hide in the car and check his father's occupation.

Mike and Connor came to the warehouse to meet Finn, and before they had a few words, Connor shot and killed Finn suddenly.

Apparently Finn knew something shady about Connor.

Helpless, Mike had no choice but to snatch and kill Finn's men.

And all of this was seen by little Mike lying outside the door, and when he was panicking, Mike and Connor discovered it.

The two chased out the door and found that it was Mike. Mike assured Connor that it would not be leaked, and Connor temporarily held back his murderous intention.

The next day, Connor sent Mike to an underground bar to collect protection fees, but when he went there, he found that it was designed by Connor and nearly died.

Mike suddenly understood that Connor still wanted to kill someone. He ran home, where his wife and young son were shot dead.

Little Mike escaped because he was stranded at school and went home late, only to watch Connor kill and leave.

Connor goes into hiding under the protection of his father, and Mike takes his son to Chicago for revenge.

Mike goes to Chicago to seek help from the gang boss, but John interferes and Mike cannot get help.

If he wants revenge to kill John, his only choice is to rely on himself and little Mike.

So he taught little Mike to drive, and the two decided to rob the bank account of the Chicago gangster, forcing him to give up protecting Connor.

At the same time, John has found a more brutal and cold-blooded killer to hunt down Mike.

The killer is a thin, bald, long-haired photojournalist who specializes in taking pictures of the dead.

He even killed the undead for taking pictures.

A mantis chase after the cicada oriole began.

The bank robbery of Mike & Sons went very smoothly, but the impact was still not enough, so Mike went to find the accountant of the gangster and got the bill.

At this time, the killer also chased here. In a fierce gun battle, the killer was shot in the face, Mike was injured in the arm, and the father and son worked together to escape the predicament.

After some adjustment in a farmhouse, Mike returned to the small town, speeding up Connor's betrayal to John, hoping that John could give up Connor.

In any case, Connor was John's son after all, and he couldn't put Connor in Mike's hands.

On a rainy night, outside the street, John, accompanied by his men, was about to drive away.

Mike killed his followers one by one, and finally killed his adoptive father John in pain.

Without the protection of his father, Mike successfully killed Connor.

This is the end of the revenge, Mike and Mike bought a house by the sea and decided to start a new life.

However, the stubborn and cold-blooded killer came again, and Mike was shot.

Fortunately, with the help of Mike, Mike killed the killer before he died.

After experiencing this series of life waves, Little Mike chose to return to the farmhouse and retreat to the rivers and lakes.

Michael Sullivan, Jr.: I saw then that my father's only fear was that his son would follow the same road. And that was the last time I ever held a gun. People always thought I grew up on a farm. And I guess, in a way, I did. But I lived a lifetime before that, in those six weeks on the road in the winter of 1931. When people ask me if Michael Sullivan was a good man, or if there was just no good in him at all, I always give the same answer. I just tell them... he was my father.
