Why so

Another movie I watched recently is "CRASH," which won this year's award. Compared with BBM, this movie obviously has more appetite for American judges. It’s about ethnic cultural conflicts, and it’s very relevant to current social issues. The short 24-hour story is very well-made and extremely reasonable. The complicated relationship between the characters and the complicated events are perfectly combined. It is indeed admirable for the screenwriter’s skill. . But I still have my own opinions on films like mine. Movies reflect the problems in the real society very well, especially the intricate social problems. I think that only through obscure film language or text language can we neutrally and objectively tell the truth and cruelty of life. Reflecting the plight of people in social life is already very good. Do movies and novels have to give us an answer to solve their own problems? I thought it was unnecessary. However, the director and the screenwriter obviously wanted to give us a clear direction. He deliberately gave the policeman who molested the black woman a chance to commit crimes. Just a day later, he arranged another CRASH to let the police show their professional ethics and satisfy them. The audience imagined the heroic imagination of the white policeman. Of course, I can say that this is a reasonable theatrical arrangement, it is the wonderfulness of film art, it is the ingenuity of the screenwriter and director, but why, when I watch it, I always feel that it is not that taste?

I don't like the preaching scent from inside despite the cover. Then when it comes to multi-threading, when it comes to dominoes, compared to the "Babel" that I watched a few years ago, this is the same as the little girl who encountered a weak hair when washing her hair. She thought she was already working hard. But the most itchy part of my head hasn't been scratched.

I should have seen it in 2007 and I am very impressed. "Crash" should also be understood as a conflict. In fact, this is a movie that describes conflict. Race, culture, beliefs, life...In a complex country, a complex city, especially in today's integrated world, various conflicts are being staged every day. But people all live in the same home on the earth, and their lives are all related to each other. Why can't there be more peace?

Crash quotes

  • Shaniqua: [talking on the phone] Mr. Ryan, your father has been to the clinic three times in the last month. He's been treated for a urinary tract infection that is by no means an emergency. Now, if you have any more questions about your HMO plan, why don't you make an appointment to come in between ten and four, Monday through Friday.

Officer Ryan: What does my father do about sleeping tonight?

    Shaniqua: I don't know. I'm not a Doctor.

Officer Ryan: I wanna talk to your supervisor...

    Shaniqua: I am my supervisor!

Officer Ryan: Yeah, what's your name?

    Shaniqua: Shaniqua Johnson.

Officer Ryan: Shaniqua. Big fucking surprise that is!

    Shaniqua: Oh!

    [Shaniqua hangs up]

  • Graham: Well, fuck you very much. But thanks for thinking of me.
