Afterthought

Whether in TED talks or in American dramas, the book The Wizard of Oz is always mentioned. But I watched it again without any video. After watching it, it didn't feel like the version I had when I was a kid. I remember that there were rabbits and queens. Finally, I conclude that this film is really well-made. In 1939, China may still be a silent film, but the United States is already in color and has the feeling of a science fiction film. But in the end, they still didn't understand the Scarecrow, the Bronze Man and the Lion. They each wanted to have a brain, heart and courage. How can you have all the things you don't already have? Always, not bad.

Ever since I was young, I felt that the Oriental Witch was so good and so good in dressing, I was crushed to death, and was snatched by a small bookie.

The movie at that time was too much on the set and the stage performance of the actors. I don't think Tim Burton should adapt Alice's Adventures to Wonderland. He should adapt this "Wizard of Oz" to be more watchable and let Depp play the scarecrow. ! Definitely better than the Mad Hatter. The last goodbye scene was very touching!

The Wizard of Oz quotes

  • The Wicked Witch of the West: Helping the little lady along are you, my fine gentlemen? Well stay away from her!

    [points to Scarecrow]

The Wicked Witch of the West: Or I'll stuff a mattress with you!

    [to Tin Man]

The Wicked Witch of the West: And you! I'll use you for a beehive. Here Scarecrow, wanna play ball?

[throws a ball of fire at Scarecrow who yelps and jumps back; Tin Man smothers it with his funnel hat]

  • The Wizard of Oz: You are talking to a man who has laughed in the face of death, sneered at doom and chuckled at catastrophe. I was petrified.
