Behind the stunt

I think this great audience should be friends who care about the environment. The film presents us with a world of disasters. Afterwards, the discussion about the truthfulness of the disasters reproduced by the film is really boring, and I can’t see it. The disaster itself is really speechless to discuss whether the disaster will actually happen. . . . .
When I watched this movie in the theater, I don’t know if it was to match the effect of the movie. The air conditioner in the theater was turned on. At the end, I hugged my friends who went with me. This scene really made us shudder. I wanted to watch this movie again, but then we didn't have the courage.

I’ve seen the high school English class, and I was still shocked by me at the time. Americans hate it the most. They always use the little people’s true feelings in front of disasters to move people.

The computer special effects create a thrilling apocalyptic scene. The color of the film presents a hierarchical transition with the type of disaster, giving people a strong audiovisual shock. "The day after tomorrow" can be said to be a meaningful warning. Don't think that the disaster of the end of the world is far away from us. It may already be in sight. At the end of the film, the President of the United States publicly repents and reflects on environmental policies, seemingly a bitter mockery of refusing to sign the "Kyoto Protocol." "For years we have believed that natural resources can be squandered freely, regardless of the consequences, we were all wrong."

The Day After Tomorrow quotes

  • Jack Hall: [on the phone with Sam] Are you sure you can't get home any sooner than tomorrow?

Sam Hall: Well, look, Dad, I would if I could, you know. It's just... this smell is unbearable, Dad.

Jack Hall: Stop kidding around! I want you home.

Sam Hall: Dad, I'll be on the train. Do me a favor, okay? Just don't worry about me. I'll figure it out.

  • Jack Hall: I'm sure you're aware of what's happening all around the world.

Vice President Becker: We're making all the necessary preparations for this storm. What more do you expect?

Jack Hall: You have to start thinking about large scale evacuations right now. Especially in the Northern states.

    Vice President Becker: Evacuations?

    Jack Hall: Yes.

Vice President Becker: Have you lost your mind, Hall? I have to go.

Jack Hall: Mr. Vice President, if we don't act now it's going to be too late.
