Captain Vip Whitaker (Denzel Washington)
Story plot and film technique:
Looking at the whole film, there is no surprising impression. The beginning and the end of the film are relatively intense, while the rest of the film seems to be a bit procrastinated.
actor:
The captain's emotional performance was superb. The night I stayed in the hotel before the trial was particularly impressive. The lens gives a person tangled, nervous and inner struggle. Like manually.
Feeling:
In the past, I felt that disaster movies were made on big scenes, showing the struggle of various human natures when they came to an end. Most disaster movies are like someone opening Pandora's box. The most primitive human nature is magnified naked to bring the viewer's deep feelings. And this disaster is more like a person fighting on his own. In fact, compared to coexisting with others in one society, it is more difficult to coexist with another self. I firmly believe that there are two different individuals in everyone's body. We use various indicators to measure them all the time, looking for a balance to make decisions for us. Just like Captain Whip. Why didn't he reflect on the breakdown of the family in the first place? Why didn't others' persuasion make him reflect? Why did he open the bottle cap at night in the hotel even though so many things happened in the end? The last touch point was that the court awarded the responsibility to another flight attendant and asked him to say "I was drunk". why?
I can't figure it out. In fact, many things in the world are like this. Only when things reach a certain point do they begin to reflect. For example, people know their health only when they are sick, they know how to cherish them when they lose them, and they know financial management when they use money.
This has the essence of addiction.
Addiction is a repetitive compulsive behavior that is continuously repeated even when these behaviors are known to cause undesirable consequences.
What the brain stimulates for "good love" and "harmful addiction" is the same chemical process of feeling happiness!
After reading some psychology, people who are addicted are just because they do not secrete enough dopamine, and they need to supplement dopamine in other ways. Then something harmful to the body becomes a dopamine supply. It is rare for a child who has felt happy since childhood to have such behaviors. Optimistic people just give themselves more dopamine every day.
After all, the plot of the movie is just an enlargement and epitome of a small truth in our lives. A kind of emotion is magnified, and the whole life is condensed.
I think a smooth and peaceful life should be a life without experiencing big ups and downs, doing a little bit every day, for the sake of my own goals, happily and happily every day.
