Interesting "Crash"

I watched "Crash" yesterday and, to be honest, I think it looks better than "Brokeback Mountain". Of course, some people also think Brokeback Mountain is better, and can give a lot of professional reasons, such as the composition, the inner struggle of the characters, the system and the individual, and so on. I have no problem with these. However, as an amateur movie lover, I still think "Crash" is good-looking.

It looks good, I think it is a hard indicator.

"Brokeback Mountain", I read it patiently, many of which are dull and boring. After reading it, I felt a little confused. But watching "Crash", after seeing it, I don't even want the film to end. How should I put it, the narrative technique of "Crash" is much more interesting than that of "Brokeback Mountain". You never know what will happen in the next second. For example, the white police officer who discriminated against black people finally saved the black woman he had molested; the white police officer who opposed discrimination finally shot and killed the black boy who was in the same car with him. And the honest old Middle Eastern man, the low-handed South American, the snobbish Asian.... Everything that happened in it was unexpected and reasonable; there was no great person, no great thing, but a pile of details, but it made people feel cordial and moving.

I think "Brokeback Mountain" and "Crash" represent two different narrative orientations. One is simple and one is complicated. One is broad and one is trivial. One is heavy and the other is light. This kind of orientation has little to do with the subject matter dealt with, mainly because of the difference in style. Homosexuality and racial discrimination are serious, but after watching "Broke Arms Mountain", my heart is crushed by a stone, and I feel that life is cruel; after watching "Crash", you will think that life is just like that, hope and despair, cruel and Gentle, always entangled, there is no need to be happy too early or disappointed too early.

Life is boring enough, there is no need to look for it in the movie. I think so.
