"Morning" has received rave reviews in both Chinese and foreign film circles. As a die-hard fan of 80s culture, I saw this movie a long time ago, and because I watched it before going to bed, I didn't have much impression. The theme song of the movie has always been stored in the playlist of the mobile phone, and it will be played occasionally when driving. An athlete, an ordinary man, a rich woman, a female nerve, a bad boy, rebelled against the school bureaucracy blablabla. Except for the interest in female nerves in the movie, the other four characters are not very impressive. After all, I have always liked neurotic girls since I was little: D
In fact, many young Americans have never watched this movie. Except for those cultural/film fans who have seen it in the 1980s and 1990s, even liberal arts students ask three questions. Not to mention Shawshank’s salvation). Whoever has time to watch movies in the 1980s and 1990s, when you mention "Morning", you seem to be an outdated old timer.
As the famous work of John Hughes, I can only score four points. Because as a youth film, the portrayal of the characters is slightly rigid.
I usually drove an old car and listened to old songs, but I would not tout "Morning". The atmosphere is very 80s, can show the style of the Reagan period, the soundtrack is very good, but the youth film has always been the hardest hit area of overrating. Many people didn't read it, and they pretended to say that this was a tribute to youth. The same goes for many rock/unpopular bands.
