I've always thought that if the characters didn't react properly, the film shouldn't pass.
Therefore, in the middle of the film, when the director wants to show "panic", the character is no longer a normal reaction.

In short, the director committed a common problem of Western-style horror, that is, forcibly "empty hands" to deepen the horror atmosphere.
The Scary Laughter series satirized this type of "doing", and it satirized another "any horror movie, I don't care, I will leave alone...to die".
