good.
For an avid fan of the original, this is a very high evaluation.
The cast is very well chosen, Elizabeth has a pair of flexible eyes, Mr Bingley has a good-natured look, Lydia is a reckless little girl, Wickham is romantic enough, Miss Bingley is pretending to be elegant, Lady Catherine is domineering, Mrs Bennet is vividly played . It's a pity that Jane is not beautiful enough, but maybe the definition of "ghost" is different from ours, and the definition of classical beauty is even more different. Darcy is handsome enough, but he is more than shy and not arrogant. He is more awkward in the crowd, and less arrogant and looks down on others. The characters of Mr Bennet and Collins are quite different from the original ones. The former is portrayed with a lot less brush and ink. After all, the movie time is very short. One-sided arrogance. Georgiana is not the shy little girl she used to be, but like Elizabeth, she is generous and joking. Sir Lucas and Hurst are completely gone, but that doesn't really affect the integrity of the plot.
The scene of the movie is very beautiful, many delicate plots remind me of notting hill, and the shooting techniques are also somewhat similar, such as the first appearance of Elizabeth, and the part of william in nh's singing in ain't no sunshine, the same is more than one minute The long shots of the protagonists bring out the scenes and things around them as the protagonists move around. Another impressive scene is the short passing of the male and female protagonists at the ball, which is very interesting. The whole play runs through the sound of the piano from the beginning to the end, coupled with the rural scenery of the United Kingdom, it is fresh and elegant, and it is very consistent with the feeling of Austen's original work.
Although some comedy elements have been added, there are occasional bursts of laughter in the cinema, which are somewhat contrary to the style of the original work, but the interspersed are quite smooth and have some help in attracting the box office. Changes to the character settings are also justified, to promote the plot or increase the "breakthrough point". The most important thing is that the film's description of this love is still in place, very flavorful, and worthy of aftertaste. Elizabeth sits crying under the tree with her arms crossed, the occasional sweet smile on her face as she paces uneasy in front of her father's house, and the occasional close-up of her "flexible eyes" perfectly expresses her emotions change. Throughout the whole movie, the tone is light and humorous, and the average audience smiles after watching it. There is no heaviness brought by other blockbusters with profound themes, but it is worth the price of the ticket. For people who have raised their noses and eyebrows in the movie, they can also shake their heads and say, um, not bad.
After watching Darcy teasing Elizabeth to say Mrs Darcy repeatedly, I suddenly felt that this is my definition of perfect love. I read so many books before, but I didn't think so. It seems that the text does not have an overwhelming advantage, and the picture image really has its own fascinating and unique charm.

The whole picture is very beautiful, and the choices of the people in the story ultimately guide it to what kind of life it will get.

Knightley ruined lizzy, the acting is too bad...but the music is good

Pride & Prejudice quotes

  • Jane Bennet: [Accepting Mr. Bingley's proposal] Yes. A thousand times yes.

  • Caroline Bingley: I can't help thinking that at some point someone is going to produce a piglet and we'll all have to chase it.
