words written in front
We will grow up eventually,
But those good things,
never disappear.
- "Toy Story 4"
The long-finished series is finally revived on Disney's commercial map. For those well-known reasons, and my inevitable recent purchase of Toy Story merchandise, it's enough to see how successful this reboot has been.
It's certainly a good movie, and seeing it in theaters has even been one of the happiest times I've had recently.
I still don't like Toy Story 4 though. Like not liking Cars 2.
Toy Story 4 also inevitably took a feminist path. The protagonist of this film should be the shepherdess.
Contrast the shepherdess of the first and fourth films, and witness the transformation from a functional vase to a protagonist female warrior.
And this is not a stereotype.
In order to highlight the wisdom of the protagonist, the supporting roles inevitably have to undertake some silly functional tasks as the impetus for the plot.
So our wise Sheriff Woody will be attracted by the shepherdess's peripheral table lamp when he is close to the RV,
Uncontrollably walked into the antique toy store,
Completely forgot about the beloved little master Bonnie.
This is not Woody anymore!
What's even more heartbreaking is that Buzz Lightyear has become a comedy character with an empty head and no voice in his heart, which is really heartbreaking.
PS: Buzz Lightyear really looks like Thor in "One Hundred Thousand Bad Jokes 2" when he presses the button on his chest over and over again.
Although I really like Thor, yes,
But Buzz Lightyear, wake up! You wake up!
You are the space trooper of "Flying Over Infinity", you are the brave warrior who saves the universe with the villain father of Zac the Great (this Star Wars Terrier is really cute)! is the coolest toy!
By the way, does the screenwriter completely forget that the Shepherdess was sent away in the third part?
If it's so memorable, why didn't you go to her before?
Woody, my beloved Woody, you are a scumbag...
This kind of creative method of forcibly disconnecting a previous character with a complete character in order to sell the new peripherals to highlight the wisdom of the new character is really annoying. Angry.
But to be honest, the new characters are really low in charm.
The third Strawberry Bear villain is even hot selling, I also feel very fascinated.
After all, every time I see the strawberry bear, I always look back and smile after the betrayal in the garbage dump.
But the strawberry bear itself is quite cute.
The fourth antique doll is really a thriller in one second.
Why are you looking for dolls from "Dead Silence" to scare simple and cute children like us?
It's not going to be a big sell really. Of course I didn't see it around either. Really, too, scary.
The best thing about the Toy Story trilogy is that it takes a different angle and tells a story we know well.
The growth of an ordinary boy, from the perspective of a toy, is so special.
The stories he brings you into and the new friends he brings are ordinary and exciting moments on the way to growth.
This is the most magical place at Pixar.
It doesn't try to tell so many powerful truths at all, it doesn't try to inspire anything, it just magically turns your eyes around.
As shocking as "Inside Out" gave us.
So ordinary lovely and ordinary people, just like ourselves.
The fourth one is a little different.
It was trying to criticize something vaguely, but it didn't pierce this layer of window paper.
It wants to use freedom to tell growth.
But let us, when we see Woody's farewell, there is no longing for the distance, but our hearts are full of doubts and regrets.
The kind of Sheriff Woody, who has been with the children for a lifetime, with this mission as his mission, does not even go to the museum, just to accompany a child to grow up with him, the doubt that he would wander for love.
It's a pity that the good brothers Buzz Lightyear and Woody who are proud of each other will be separated.
Because of Woody, he wasn't like that.
Woody is the most decent male protagonist. He has always been the most favored by the owner and is the focus of the toys.
There was no pain in his growth,
So he is optimistic and compassionate,
He himself has no doubts or confusion about the value of his life.
He has a full sense of who he is.
As Andy said at the end of the third installment: "But Woody is special because he will never give up on you."
He will never give up on you.
He is Woody.
But the fourth part threw out such a theme, the mission of toys, only companionship?
We can also choose to make a stray toy.
This title is very familiar.
It's like "The Secret Life of Pets". Domestic pets and stray animals who are happier.
It seems to be a happier version of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and hometown.
A feeling that cannot replace each other, it doesn't matter which one is more advanced, and there is no so-called growth.
Compared with the handover of toys with a sense of inheritance in the third part, the theme of the fourth part is really boring.
The end of the third part is really a stroke of genius.
Everyone should be crying at this scene.
It's more beautiful than we can imagine, more beautiful than the ending of Woody following Andy to college and the little friends starting their retirement in the attic.
An imaginative and moving ending.
I really don't like Toy Story 4. But it's really pretty. It sounds contradictory but very real feelings.
From the production level alone, at least 4 stars can be given. As long as you forget, it has three more predecessors.
If you watch it in a movie theater, remember to stick to it until the Pixar logo appears at the end, which is a special edition of the handsome Duke.
Still love these creative and wonderful Easter eggs.
PS: I love "Toy Story 2" when it comes to Easter eggs.
"so,
So,
Thank you for your company all these years. "
