art of deception

The 1973 movie was watched in the light and cheerful piano music, and that era was considered the golden age of movies. Finally know who Paul Newman is, and then the other protagonist really looks like Pete.

The whole plot follows the deception laid out by the protagonist. The last step is to take the bait, and it can be explained. I lament that the liar really has a precise grasp of the heart. The scene on the train was really wonderful. I checked it out and it was the best picture at the Oscars that year.

I like this flavor so much! The guide is a bit too classical, and the ending is not exciting.

The Sting quotes

  • Kid Twist: Dukey, if this thing blows up, the Feds will be the least of our problems.

  • Luther: How much did you lose?

Johnny Hooker: [winces] All of it.

Luther: In one damn night? What are you spraying money around like that for, you could've been nailed.

Johnny Hooker: I checked the place first. There were no dicks in there.

Luther: But you're a con man! And you blew it like a pimp!
