Love like a gorilla

When "Lord of the Rings" was done, PJ announced that he was going to remake "King Kong". At that time, I really doubted whether PJ could succeed. Although PJ's ability to control movies is first-rate, he is relatively classical and lacks subversiveness, and may not be suitable for remaking classic movies.

But now it seems that PJ has completely succeeded. He took this movie to the extreme. In this era, no one will surpass this movie in this genre. It is not too much to describe this movie with the propaganda words written by Zhang Weiping for "Heroes" and "Ambush on Ten Sides".

"King Kong" is an all-round successful movie, whether it's characterization, audio-visual special effects or love scenes. There have been too many articles talking about these things, so I want to talk about something else, about King Kong and Jack.

When King Kong was looking for Ann, he wrecked in New York City. He grabbed every blonde girl, saw that it wasn't Ann, and threw it away. It's really evil. But when he was fighting the plane on the top floor of the Empire State Building, almost everyone was on King Kong's side. When he caught the plane and threw it out, there was even applause in the theater. Why can all people forgive King Kong's mistakes and recognize King Kong's behavior?

King Kong's love is very simple and persistent. In the long years, all the giant gorillas on the island died, leaving only the last one. He is worshipped and sacrificed by humans. He fights with dinosaurs, but there is no life equal to him. He is very lonely. Then Ann appeared, originally just his sacrifice, but this girl would make him happy, and would be angry when he played with her, and would not shrink back when he was angry. King Kong fell in love with this girl at that moment. Then once his love begins, he cannot stop, no matter what is in front of him, whether it is a dinosaur or a city, he will tear them to pieces. And all he wanted was to watch the sunrise and sunset with Ann from a high place. Ann would say, it's so beautiful. And King Kong will die.

Therefore, King Kong from the primitive world, with the most primitive emotions, for his love, he can do whatever he can and use all means to die.

The screenwriter Jack Ann liked at first is completely different from King Kong. Although Jack and Ann also love each other, and even though Jack will take risks for Ann, Jack has never clearly expressed his love for Ann. He will write scripts for Ann, and he says everything is silent. He is smart and elegant, but he can't express his love. However, this is not Jack's fault. Years of civilization has taken away his ability to show love, and his ability to love sincerely is already very remarkable.

King Kong and Jack are standing at opposite ends of the world, with a thick civilization in between. King Kong did not hide his love, and roared for his love. Jack uses reason to control his emotions, and everything is silent. Although King Kong's violent and frank love is very touching, in a gregarious world, we still have to control our feelings.

In the civilized world, the one who resembles King Kong most is actually the director Carl. He is crazy for the movie (or fame and fortune), and he takes the film crew to the island at all costs, and he takes King Kong back to New York at all costs. However, as Jack said, Carl can always destroy everything he loves. And King Kong ruined himself. Not many people like Carl, but we all love King Kong.

Although we understand that love like King Kong cannot be accommodated in the world, we still cannot help asking, do you dare to love like King Kong?

IMDB scored 7.8 (40432 people voted), I scored 9 points.
