Healing Experience · Colorful magical world
· Magical world's colorful dance skewers are very ornamental and beautifully made, showing the best side of Indian culture. The whole composition is very much in line with my Asian 'symmetrical aesthetic'. It can be said to be Mesmorizing! The story in the song is closely related to the picture, and the plot progresses smoothly. Very successful as a stroy telling (and of course the story itself from "One Thousand and One Nights" is excellent) very interesting.
· with friends -- the normal afternoon hangout Although it is a bit gg, thank my friends for being so kind, maybe they are all fairies. Just being around everyone makes me want to be a better person. a lot of people inspire me to be better person.
Jasmin · Jasmine's Girl power
The biggest highlight of Feminist's 2019 version of Feminist's role, the 'Speechless' part is particularly good! (Heard the cry, Here comes a wave meant to wash me away I feel like the princess in the storm) I won't live unspoken!
Are fairy tales just fairy tales? · Real world vs Magical world
you could really die if you were to be the real Aladin, in the cave and when he was sent to cold desert. Life is a game? or Life is not a game but the real Alaska where you die if make a bad enough decision. You shall be optimistic? Even though you can't help but think that these hardships are part of a fairy tale , Aladdin won't really be trapped in a cave, the princess won't really marry Jafar, but in real life these are all is the unknown. In fairy tales you don't need to worry about bad consequences, but in the real world you do die, get sick and get hurt. But what's the use of worrying about these consequences?
In the real world, you still shouldn't worry about these things that didn't happen. Worrying only distracts you from using all your energy to deal with the situation. In the real world all you need to know is: life is not a joke, always have a sense of reverence for life.
Aladdin lost himself in the material world · connecting with your true value within
Aladin was losing himself in pretending to be Prince Ali. But the genie says "eventually you will have to tell the truth."
Crisis: Aladdin was worrying a lot to be pretending a prince, he sort of buy into the lie. "I am Prince Ali." He was growing dependent on his outside. He no longer wanted to set the genie free. He was becoming vein and uncaring. "you only needed me because I have a wish to set you free." He was saying that giene wanted something from him too and that was why the genie went the extra mile for him.
“Finding oneself while seeking approval of others, means the murder of self.”
I am a very insecure person and I need someone else's approval. Outward approval has been my long-term motivation. I don't understand intrinsic motivation at all. I want to be praised. This is not only reflected in the decisions I make, but even deep into my daily habits. I've been criticized for relying too much on audience reaction when speaking. But I didn't realize it was related to my search for "self".
Neither Aladdin nor I can find ourselves -- if we've been seeking approval from others, we've gone further and further.
Living on your own terms · Neither you nor Aladdin need affirmation
Insecurity and Need for Approval Can you say that Aladdin was blinded by all the glory and was endulging in the affirmation of Princess Jasmin. "The power was not to earn recognition from the people who we wanted approval from, but to defy them."
"Aladdin is shown to be deeply insecure about himself and constantly works to earn the affections and approval of many other characters, most notably Princess Jasmine."
what does the movie say about that. Aladdin lost his lamp and has let it fallen into evil hands. He was exposed unvoluntarily by the Jafar, the issue was not resolved then. When in the end the genie asked what he wanted, the genie assumed that he would want to be a prince again or, to be able to change the law. But instead he set the geniu free. He walked out of the palace. He no longer needed approval because he has proven himself worthy while being himself. you dont get anywhere when your soul focus is on earning approvals of others; rather when you be yourself, focus on every present moment.
Aladdin was able to resolve the conflict not with the help of the geniu, nor the magical carpet, his wit was the solving factor. If I, an outsider, were to define who Aladdin was: His witty charateristic is the main thing.
The reduction degree of the 2019 Aladdin movie is still very high. In the original work, Aladdin is also an insecure smart street kid who wants to become rich and to be recognized. Aladdin's story is not how he overcomes all odds to become a winner in life, but Aladdin's story of finding himself. At the end of the story, he no longer needs a magic lamp to fulfill his wish to become a prince, and he no longer seeks approval. He does not need wealth and material satisfaction. He walked out of the palace alone. At this point the story ends and the crime resolved.
"Seeking validation will keep you trapped. You don't need anyone or anything to approve of your worth. When you understand this, you'll be free."
“When you do not seek or need approval, you are at your most powerful.”
"Do things for you, not for the approval or satisfaction of others. You'll attract the people who will matter."
“Care about what other people think and you will always be their prisoner.” Lao Tzu
“Stop looking outside for scraps of pleasure or fulfillment, for validation, security, or love – you have a treasure within that is infinitely greater than anything the world can offer.” Eckhart Toller
"No approval needed, I live my life on my own terms." I didn't understand what "living on your own terms" meant when I read it in JW's book but kept writing it down. "living on your own terms, no matter how bad it is, is better than living on other people's terms." I came across it today when I was looking for a quote about approval in a movie, and I realized it. living on your own terms means you are your own master, you seek to please no one.
