I watched "City of Extreme Cold" three times before and after, and the last time it came out in 4K, I watched it again. This film has really subverted my consistent view of American Hollywood producers. Theron's performance is head-to-head and down-to-earth. There is a slight flaw in logic, but it does not affect its peak image at all. I am afraid the gap is not narrowing, but widening. Film art has no carrier to talk about vitality and influence, relying on shouting and extreme sensationalism, I am afraid it will not last!
