Aladdin (Mena Massoud) is a boy who grew up in the market with only a monkey by his side. Although he sometimes cooperates with the little monkey to steal things, most of the time, he gives the stolen money to the poor children and people in need on the street. He is like a Parkour extreme athlete, flying around the city and going up and down. One day, he met the princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott) who was "visiting privately" and saved the princess' life. He thought she was just the maid next to the princess, and planned to sneak into the palace to return the princess' bracelet to her.
Although the princess is talented, but because she is a girl, her fate can only be to pretend to be deaf and dumb and be married as a mistress. There is a rule in the palace that the princess must marry a prince. In the palace, the king's subordinate Jafar (Marwan Kenzari) has been planning for a long time to usurp the throne. And he just fell in love with Aladdin, who secretly came to the palace to return the bracelet to the princess. He took Aladdin outside a cave and let Aladdin enter the cave to take out a magic lamp. After all the perils, Aladdin has a magic lamp and a magic carpet to fly him around. It was only then that he discovered that a changeable god, Genie (Will Smith), suddenly appeared from the magic lamp. Genie tells Aladdin that he can make three wishes.
In order to be able to be with the princess, Aladdin's first wish was to turn himself into a certain prince, so that he could justifiably enter the palace and marry the princess Jasmine. Before this wish came true, it was seen through by the bad guy Jafar. Jafar recognized Aladdin and threw him into the sea. In this way, Aladdin's second wish became to save his own life.
Jafar has been seeking power for a long time. He tried to possess the magic lamp and then made three wishes to let himself occupy the country, but his cleverness was mistaken by his cleverness, and finally he lost his freedom. Aladdin married the princess Jasmine, and the princess became the ruler of the country.
It's an opera movie with lots of songs in between. But don't worry about being as long and exaggerated as a Bollywood movie. As long as you have watched Aladdin's cartoons as a child, you will be familiar with its theme song. And in this movie, the main characters sing very well. In some small climaxes, the music is matched with the picture, which will make people a little excited.
The acting skills of the actors are not bad. Of course, the old actor Will Smith played the most easily. The role he plays in this movie is a little playful and disobedient, but it still makes people feel very natural.
In addition to the scene of the protagonist kiss in the last few seconds of the movie, children will still like to watch this movie, and adults will also like to talk about it. After all, we all have such a childhood.
