For me, this is a very moving movie.
Not everyone is so lucky to be able to meet again. Some people lose it and may never be able to find it again. They live with regret for the rest of their lives, and maybe they are still thinking about it at the last moment before death.
In the first part, the experience of the little boy is really sad. The five-year-old boy actually picked up a bicycle. In order to prove that he had the strength to help his brother work, he was sensible and stubborn. When he shouted Gudu frantically in the car, I was not touched, but when he was nibbling on that apple, I felt sad, five years old, alone, sitting in an unfamiliar carriage with nothing to eat or drink, Don't know where I'm going. There were two other times of distress that were gripping. An innocent and well-behaved child was ignored in a place where he didn't speak the language, and he wandered alone for two months outside. I think the episode where the boy was adopted was quite healing. After all the hardships, the boy was finally able to reach a safe harbor and get love and warmth.
The second part of the male protagonist is looking for his family. Many people say that there is too much foreshadowing and too much procrastination. But I think the foreshadowing is necessary. The male protagonist and the female protagonist are separated and combined. The male protagonist cannot suffer in his heart in a superior life. The sadness of his mother after losing him and the voice of his brother looking for him often come to my mind. Trapping him like a cage, the male protagonist at this time is like a trapped beast, but even if he exhausts his strength, he struggles until he breaks free from the cage.
The third part is looking for relatives. The male protagonist finally returned to his hometown and found his family. The mother believes that her son will come back and has never moved. How many people believe that they will come back but can't wait for their relatives in their entire lives. However, the mother of the male protagonist has waited. The child who was lost at the age of five is back. At the end of the film, I wanted to cry when I saw that my brother was gone after the male protagonist got into the car. Their agreement will never be fulfilled.
I only hope that those who are separated from their relatives can finally find their relatives, and that every child as innocent and well-behaved as Salo can have a happy and happy childhood.
(This is my first time writing a movie review, sorry for the bad writing)
