Watched because of Xiaoshuo. Just an ordinary popcorn movie, with tons of Asian elements tho. The first victim went to Fudan University and got an MBA there, lol. The criminal is cruel, smart and also stupid, exposed his identity by parking his car under a surveillance camera. I'm totally buying the part that the criminal got rid of Alex's wife first, that really lit up the plot. BTW, i also looked up the Confucius saying "Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves", turned out to be a fake, probably a Japanese proverb.
