Beautiful set, beautiful singing Moulin Rouge is the best movie I've seen recently.
Strictly speaking, the plot of this musical is very cliché, and those who listen to the opera will know that the story of the Moulin Rouge is a mixture of opera bohemian and La Traviata. Some of the melodies are also copied from other musicals, but the way the cinematic shots are switched is very special - this is also the most shocking part besides the beautiful scenery, which makes the film more exciting and beautiful. The cast of the movie is also well-chosen, and Nicole Kidman's provocative eyes just made me fall in love with her.
An almost perfect musical movie.
