Personal Value in Exploitation - A Little Thought of "Pseudo-Angry Youth"

This poorly written review is dedicated to Chaplin, the master of comedy and tragedy.

In the previous sociology class, I watched the clip of the automatic feeder for the first time. Many classmates who enjoyed it for the first time, like me, twitched with laughter, especially the part with the electric drill corn, but I also observed many people holding their chins, It was probably not the first time that the silent classmates saw it. Watching it again, I noticed many new details from the bullet screen at station B. For example, when the machine is out of control, the manufacturer does not stop the machine in an emergency, but treats the workers as guinea pigs debugging the machine. I won’t talk about the paragraph where the assembly line is crazy. Many barrages are listing the paragraphs in “Das Kapital”, similar to the capitalists extracting the value of workers to realize economic benefits, etc.

At this point, however, my thoughts turned slightly elsewhere, and I came to the point in The Goal: A Process of Ongoing Improvement (by Eliyahu M. Goldratt, 2004): You can't increase the final output without increasing the productivity of the bottleneck. Because workers on the assembly line do not have the concept of inventory, as long as one link is out of touch, it will easily become a bottleneck in the entire production process, so capitalists will continue to ask workers on the bottleneck to improve efficiency; however, manpower is limited, so in order to improve Efficiency and the invention of machines have led to the reduction of purely human jobs. Workers who originally lacked professional skills are more likely to be unemployed and easily replaced. In order to keep their jobs, they may be willing to work longer hours and more unreasonable work intensity; Without adequate social welfare guarantees, such as medical insurance, many workers are likely to be exhausted at a young age and have to leave the job market ahead of schedule and be replaced by new young laborers. This is an endless cycle, low-end labor is consumed, and only those who stand at the top of the capital chain are eternal.

And what are the ways to promote upward mobility of classes? is education. However, in the context of the commercialization of education, it is still the children of the rich who can more easily obtain better education and the knowledge and connections brought about by a favorable growth environment than the children of the poor. At the same time, highly developed businesses use more promotional methods to try their best to squeeze people's wallets and attract attention. The entertainment that pretends to be rich actually numbs people's spiritual world.

Chaplin was ostracized and suppressed by the capitalist world because he was labeled a communist all his life, and he was eventually invited back to the Oscars. Marx's "Das Kapital" exposes the ugliness of the capitalist world, and Marx is still regarded as the greatest man in the world by Western society. Whereas Marx summarized the theory at a high level, Chaplin made his ideas more widely disseminated with his humorous portrayal of the lives of little people. I think, maybe we can achieve success by catering to the times, such as obtaining wealth and social status, etc., but great people are always calm and detached thinkers and critics in good times and bad times, because dissatisfaction and dissatisfaction Satisfaction, we can continue to progress.

As someone who has been hiding in an ivory tower for a long time, I think I have to "see" before I think about it here as a "pseudo-angry youth". How are the facts? Are the people really living in "distressed waters"? I want to get out, look around, and never stop thinking and criticizing.

Give yourself a little motivation and follow the master.

If the movie had never had Chaplin, what a boring world would be. It made me laugh a few times before 30 minutes alone. Absurd and reasonable, extremely joyful!

Where Buster Keaton designed the film through barricades, ingenious mechanics and ideas, Chaplin through simplicity, clumsiness, kindness and backfire. Keaton's ingenious designs and ideas make the audience's eyes shine, while Chaplin makes them laugh, think and move. Economic and people's livelihood riddled with holes, hopeless optimism, frustrated but full of hope
