Don't stop burning! I was stabbed and cried three times!

I didn't even have any precautions, and I was stabbed and cried 3 times by "Blood Battle on Hacksaw Ridge"! This is my most appropriate evaluation of this movie. It is too rare for me, a man from Shandong who is a little old driver! The last time I saw a movie and wiped my tears was the last of "Shawshank's Redemption", and Andy's cry for freedom in the rain.

Before watching, Xiangzi made great reservations about the expectations of this movie. First of all, can the cute and handsome Andrew Garfield show the image of an American soldier that we think?

But actually, I knelt to Garfield! Quiet as a virgin, as if moving away from a rabbit, the acting has subverted my understanding of Garfield!

Another reason is that there are repeated scenes of the male protagonist's growing up experience and lovemaking scenes in the trailer.

War films are the most taboo of sluggish emotional dramas, and I am worried that "Blood Wars" will repeat the mistakes of "Pearl Harbor" because the blunt love triangle ruined a good theme.

Also worry about it too much.

These plots before joining the army were all to serve the medical soldier who was able to break the steel tongs out of his teeth.

When I was young, I couldn't fight, so I smashed the bricks together and hit my brother's head, almost killing him.

Seeing the pretty girl, she stared straight at the girl without any embarrassment. Without knowing what the girl thinks, she declared, "Mama, I want that girl to give me a baby".

The second time I met, I was very domineering president Fan Di and kissed her. The girl slapped her over, but Dao brother was caught in the circle: I thought you would like it!

Be good! If the girls can do this, wouldn't the more than 30 million bachelors in my celestial dynasty be able to say goodbye to the singles after watching the movie and grabbing the girls around them to a wall!

And the girl is really in love with this straight guy who is smiling at all times!

And this character has continued to join the army and the battlefield.

Brother Dao refused to go to the battlefield with a gun because of Jesus' words "Don't kill." He believes that the purpose of joining the army is not to kill but to save.

I would rather risk going to a military court and delay the wedding than change my original intention.

It's hard like a smelly stone!

After being ridiculed by the chief, "Don't expect Brother Dao to save you on the battlefield", Brother Dao insisted on the firm belief of "Save another one" and rescued 75 comrades-in-arms alone.

Perhaps it was because Brother Dao’s piety really moved Jesus, and the bullet also flew around Dao Ge for a while, for fear that he would turn into a tofu flower if he touched this "stinky stone".

Later, a Japanese sniper said that he had seen this dead health soldier in Hacksaw Ridge, but every time he shot at him, the bullet would get stuck.

Because of Brother Dao's belief, the entire army was moved, putting life and death aside, and willingly jumped into the crematorium of Gangsaw Ridge again.

The first reaction of the vast majority of movie fans after watching "Blood Wars in Hacksaw Ridge" was super burn!

But more than just burning, it is burning to the point of brutality!

Zong Ju's emotions must have been infected first, and set us a perfect example: the abridgement of less than 30s. This is a performance against the sky!

Because the battlefield of "Blood Wars" is full of bloody scenes of "the liver and intestines flying with the artillery shells, and the brains dancing with the bullets". The big screen will nakedly cut the stumps of the limbs and dig out the heart, liver, spleen and lungs in front of you, just like collecting the corpse on the battlefield. If this movie is shown using the filming methods of Ang Lee's "Billy Lynn", it will leave many fans like soldiers, leaving behind the shadow of the war.

The real-life shooting scenes of explosions hit the eyeballs, which are more realistic than any computer stunts. Coupled with the shocking surround stereo bass, it is as immersive as it is, and the sense of substitution is super strong.

Especially when he was inspired by Brother Dao and rushed to the final battle at Hacksaw Ridge for the last time, every soldier had a disdainful expression on his face, and with arrogance, he poured the vigorous vigor of the massacre into the brains of every viewer.

Make fists with both hands, with hair standing upright.

But this kind of burning is not the war movie we usually watch:

Seeing that victory is in sight, the soldiers of the three armies are full of anger, and they wait for a thick and loud charge to enter the battlefield and the bayonet sees red to defend the indignation of victory.

It's not the kind of emotion that can't help but want to get into the screen, jump into the battle, and murder with the enemy.

But when we see the fearful eyes of soldiers witnessing the war, like them, no matter their emotions or actions, they are like being held down by a welding torch, and they don't listen to their orders.

The human heart is always fleshy, no matter how strong the big heart is, seeing the ghost gate is the next step, it will also be afraid of whether or not to continue.

The real burn will be a mass of ashes afterwards.

This kind of burning is not simply an impulse caused by adrenal hormones breaking through many barriers and infiltrating the blood into the forehead. It is

more that Brother Dao’s "saving another" spirit infects every viewer, and the triggered emotions quickly gather in the heart. Just wait for a shell to land and ignite instantly.

Not only visual pleasure, but also a powerful shock in my heart!

The eye sockets are dry and wet.

This is also how Xiangzi once again realized after "The Shawshank's Redemption" that the invisible and intangible thing of faith

is really so powerful and loud!

If you also go to the theater to watch this movie, don't begrudge your "fuck",

because these two words are too common in this theater.

And more "fuck" is also the highest evaluation of this movie!

I feel sorry for Mel Gibson's filming of such a superficial religious film, and angry at the religious teaching that is so wrong that it violates biblical principles. Compared with the thin red line, this film is really like coaxing children. If Mel Gibson doesn't solve the humanistic tendencies in his beliefs, he will really stop making films with such subjects in the name of missionary work. It is really self-defeating and suspected of being a "fake master"!

Hacksaw Ridge quotes

  • Sgt Howell: This is a personal gift from the United States government to each and every one of you. A standard issue U.S. rifle, caliber .30, M1, a clip-fed, shoulder-fired, semi-automatic weapon designed to bring death and destruction to the enemy. This is to be your lover, your mistress, your concubine. Perhaps the only thing in life you will ever truly love. Fellas, let's dance.

    [the privates begin grabbing weapons]

Sgt Howell: Grab a girl. Don't point your gun forward. I do not want to be shot today. No matter how much you are tempted. Place the weapon by your side. Pay attention.

[Doss is the only one who has not picked up a rifle]

Sgt Howell: Problem, Private Corn Stalk? Is there not one in your size or is it the color that is the issue?

Desmond Doss: No, Sarge. I was... I was told I don't have to carry a weapon.

Sgt Howell: Come again? Step forward, Private. I can't be hearing this right.

Desmond Doss: Well, I'm sorry, Sergeant. I can't touch a gun.

Captain Glover: What exactly is the problem?

Desmond Doss: No problem, just a mistake, sir. I told the Army when I joined up.

Captain Glover: That's not possible. Do you know why that's not possible, Private?

    Desmond Doss: No, sir.

Captain Glover: Because the United States Army does not make mistakes. So if there's a problem, you must be that problem.

Desmond Doss: I was just never supposed to be sent to a rifle company.

    Sgt Howell: He's a C.O., sir.

Captain Glover: You're a conscientious objector, and you joined the Army?

Desmond Doss: Well, no, sir, I'm a conscientious cooperator.

Captain Glover: [bemused] Are you screwing with me, Doss?

Desmond Doss: No. No, sir. I volunteered. I ain't got no problem with wearing my uniform, or saluting the flag and doing my duty. It's just carrying a gun and the taking of human life.

Captain Glover: You don't kill? That's all?

Desmond Doss: That's all. Yes, sir, that's all.

Captain Glover: You know quite a bit of killing does occur in a war?

    Desmond Doss: Yes, sir.

Captain Glover: I mean, that is the essential nature of war.

    Desmond Doss: Yes, sir.

Captain Glover: All right. Do you have any other requirements of the United States Army? Is there anything else we can do to ensure that you have a comfortable stay here with us?

Sgt Howell: He doesn't want to work on Saturdays, sir.

Desmond Doss: Well, Saturdays... I'm a Seventh-Day Adventist. So, Saturday is my Sabbath, so I'm not allowed to work then.

Captain Glover: I don't think that poses a problem, do you, Sergeant? We shall simply ask the enemy not to invade on the Sabbath, 'cause Private Doss here is at prayer. All right. Now we got that clear. Now let me tell you my requirements. They're not as complicated as yours. They're very simple. As long as you're in this company, under my command, you will obey my orders. Period. If you can't do it here, I can't trust you to do it in battle. I'm putting you in for a Section 8, psychiatric discharge. Dismissed.

  • Sgt Howell: Gentlemen! I want you to meet Private Desmond Doss. Apparently, Private Doss does not believe in violence. He does not practice violence. He will not even deign to touch a weapon. You see, Private Doss is a conscientious objector. So I plead with you, do not look to him to save you on the battlefield, because he will undoubtedly be too busy wrestling with his conscience to assist.

Desmond Doss: Sarge, that's not true...

Sgt Howell: PRIVATE, AS YOU WERE! Now I realize that some of you might have strong feelings about this. It is what we men fight for. To defend our rights, and to protect our women and children. Even if Private Doss' beliefs might cause women and children to die. So I will expect everyone in this company to give Private Doss the full measure of respect he is due for the short time that he will be with us.
