Memories are precious treasures

The most adult work in Studio Ghibli is also the favorite of many people. It is a masterpiece that is easily overlooked. I also watched it 3 times before I finished it. I couldn't watch it before because of the heroine's painting. The movie is too ugly, and the part of the memory is rather boring. After watching it in the dead of night last night, when the ending song played, it was difficult to calm down for a long time.

I especially like the ending part after the grandma and the heroine propose marriage, the heroine's inner monologue, childhood memories, conversations in the car, and finally being pulled back to the country by my 5th grade self. The process of returning from reality to unreality may suffer a lot. People criticize it, but I think this is a kind of sublimation from ordinary to extraordinary. A Tokyo office worker, he lost the true meaning of life due to his busy work. He who longed for and loved rural life finally found his belonging and found himself. In thinking and recalling, people can understand themselves better and not lose themselves. It was the trip to the countryside that gave Taeko a chance to run out from time to time.

Assuming that Taeko didn't go back and continued her normal city life in Tokyo, she wouldn't be unhappy. Missing such a good boy as Junxiong is like missing the friend Ashin who pretended to hate her in front of her but actually liked her. Most of us are ordinary and ordinary, and few of us dare to change the direction of our life path and take an unknown step.

The memories interspersed in the film are kind and natural, and most of them happened in our past, even if we can't remember them now. Hirota and Taeko in 5th grade, the beginning of love is pure and beautiful. The beginning of any relationship is the sweetest. Taeko's body floats into the air.
