Seeing Rashomon on a fire - comment on Rashomon

There are a hundred red buildings in the eyes of a hundred people. Rashomon's goodness is enough for a hundred people to talk about it from their own perspectives. I like its psychological portrayal and think it is one of the excellent psychological suspense films. What I admire most is its description of the environment, which sets off the psychological activities of the characters just right.
The murder took place in a primeval forest lit by the sun. The scorching sun shone on the air with leaf shadows swaying, and the bloody smell spread out little by little.
The description of the murder is in the public office hall, with a flat ground and a high wall, like a relief sculpture.
The analysis and bottom of the murder case is under the Mucheng Tower Monra Shōmon. The door of the building was broken, and it was inaccessible under the heavy rain. The woodcutter and witnesses who carried the final truth were sheltering from the rain in the building door. The farmer passed by and asked them about the case. The rain was suffocating, and the sky was gloomy. However, such an explanation is not enough to pave the way for the horror of the case, and it is not enough to reflect the desolation of the background of the times. The farmer had to dismantle two broken pieces of wood from the gate of the gate and light a fire in order to listen to the story patiently. Seeing the sudden rise in the chill here, the camera didn't explain how he lit the fire, but imagining the thick smoke from the wet wood and the gloomy surroundings made one shiver.
In the movie, I heard a stranger knocking on the door, so I answered the door with a fruit knife.

Look at the night of the three religions in Fudan. Stepped out of the classroom, but couldn't get out of Kurosawa Akira.

#重看# created a classic multi-angle narrative mode, and "Rashomon" has since become the most important proper term in film history; there is no ending to the truth, and the language labyrinth intertwined with multi-faceted narratives can still restore humanity. The darkness; simple and neat editing, rapid and compact drum beats, Kurosawa Akira's magnificent and majestic weather pattern, sky light and cloud shadows, wind and rain, and Eastern aesthetic connotations.

Rashomon quotes

  • Priest: It's horrifying. If men don't trust each other, this earth might as well be hell.

Commoner: That's right. The world's a kind of hell.

Priest: No! I believe in men. I don't want this place to be hell.

Commoner: Shouting doesn't help. Think about it. Out of these three, whose story is believable?

    Woodcutter: No idea.

Commoner: In the end, you cannot understand the things men do.

  • Commoner: It's human to lie. Most of the time we can't even be honest with ourselves.
