A story about salvage

Sydnie 2022-09-05 22:13:56

We need our salvage. Alcohol, tobacco, charity, religion, anything you do either for redemption, or simply for a moment of peaceful mind. We need someone to come along with, to whom, once in a while, you make a confession for those shameful things you have ever done, then go back home continue your life. The nature of our lives is ruthless and ironically user unfriendly. Once you do it, it can't be redone. Once you see it, it can't be unseen. Some of us live in lies, others don't. The truth is, whatever you said and done, either it goes to your debt, or you pay it right now. The pastor himself represented God, however his friend, the most reckless guy has the name- Salvador- which is morphologically closer to 'Salvage'.

  • Sal Nealon: [back in New York city] Take that in. Take a deep breath. What, you do it? What do you smell? There's one distinct smell. What is it? Urine. I love it. It's like the official scent of the city.

  • Sal Nealon: I ask you, you see a man in this uniform? Huh? Could you resist all this? Huh? I, um...

    Girl at Wake: No, I - I don't think I could.

Sal Nealon: Mm-hmm. It's the uniform, or the man in the uniform?

Girl at Wake: It's a killer combination.

Sal Nealon: It's the combination. Isn't it?

Girl at Wake: Yeah, it's the combination. Yeah. Kind of seductive.

Sal Nealon: Thank you. Yeah. You are a very perceptive young lady.
