Suzy and Buffett

Susie said:
Everyone in the world will not think
put energy, love and time
wasted on useless things
I always thought I'd be with a priest, a doctor
or someone of value to mankind
marry
The truth is, I am married to a man who will make a lot of money
It's the opposite of what I think
But I know what kind of person he is
he is
the best man in the world

This scene is what his wife Susie said in a video before she died.

love is a strange thing
you can't control it
If you give love, you will get more love
If you hold on tight, you'll lose it
Suzy, made me
she believes me
she shaped me
I won't be what I want to be
She made me whole

Here's what Buffett wanted to say to his wife.

My goal in life is to become a teacher.
in my opinion,
Life is like a movie,
You can't live in the dark.
You're going to find a copy even if you don't need the money,
Also willing to do work.
life is Beautiful,
Every morning you jump out of bed,
It is because you are looking forward to this day.
For more than 60 years, I've been tap-dancing to work.
Because I love what I'm doing,
I feel so lucky. "

This is how Buffett has been thinking about how to realize his own value as a person in this life. He often thinks of his wife as a different person from him, yet in this respect they are exceptionally similar: to be a worthwhile person, a useful person to society.

Watching the documentary actually saw tears, yes, it was the kind of tears in "Interstellar" (man's tears are really few and strange). I agree with Warren’s understanding of values, and I agree with his wife Suzy, who was separated from him after middle age but still has a connection. After Suzy died of a stroke, Warren finally adjusted himself, and it should be said that the two agreed that after running in parallel for a long time, they finally merged into a better river than the two.

For a decade-old Buffett fan like me, the documentary itself doesn't offer much new information. The reason why I highly recommend it is because of the small details that are close to his life, such as "Yesterday's market was not good, let's have a cheaper breakfast today..." Now I like Buffett, and I am rather happy than admiring his ability to snowball. Seeing integrity and honesty pay off in some way.

Becoming Warren Buffett quotes

  • Susan Buffett: I was talking to him one day about some racial issue, and he said to me, "wait till women discover they're the slaves of the world." Now how many men were cognizant of that, and even women then?

  • Warren Buffett: The worst mistakes involve not understanding other people as well as you might.
