The gladiatorial fight in the middle is still very passionate... It would be nice to have a deeper expression of this culture. However, a high-end, passionate commercial film, the editing is too long, the rhythm is inappropriate, and the narrative is somewhat procrastinated. 170 minutes seems to be an extended version, the wrong source...
However, the elements of the film itself are very good, very emotional: revenge + traumatic hero + gladiatorial culture.
Finally, I think this theme can be very interesting: when heroes become the existence of entertaining the masses...(…) There is an episode in "Black Mirror" that talks about how the masses can devour everything in the entertainment culture. I think it will be a bit like. It's just that this film is more glorious.

I'll just say how the prince looked so cool. It turned out to be the male protagonist of "Master"... Back then, he was so pretty orz that he didn't recognize him.
Then, the rhythm of the story core is online, not very deep. I don't know how the normal version feels, the 170-minute extended version feels too long anyway.
