Speaking of the best super-British movie series, Nolan's "Batman" trilogy is undoubtedly the pinnacle of work, sought after by a broad audience, and even once appeared a "bat" boom.

From the birth of Batman to the struggle to the final breakthrough, the trilogy brings audiences not only audiovisual enjoyment from beginning to end, but also deep thinking about heroes and criminals, individuals and society.

In each movie, in addition to the ups and downs, complex and changeable plot, you can also see many decent characters shining with the glory of human nature, and see more than one very symbolic villain appearing, presenting a three-dimensional full of classic characters. Weave a big web of human nature and lies entangled.

Ninja masters, scarecrows, clowns, double-faced people, Bain and other villains are all villains that we will think about their criminal motives after watching "Batman", thinking about why they will gradually become the opposite of society, and Batman as a hero What is the essential difference with them. In such intertwined human nature, there is a feast of struggle between heroes and villains one after another.

Recently, I re-watched the first Batman movie. For the title, Hong Kong translates as the mystery of Xia Ying, and Taiwan translates as the moment of war. In my opinion, both translations only sum up a part, and they are complete together. The first half of the film can be called the mystery of chivalrous shadows, and the second half can be called the moment of war. The shortcoming is that this creates a sense of separation in the plot.

At the beginning of the film, it is narrated in a parallel way of reminiscence and narrative. If we are used to Nolan's narrative style, we will know that Nolan is good at using time editing to make the story present a larger span.

One line starts from childhood shadows, and one line starts from prison battles, generating fear and overcoming fear. And Duka's timely help promoted the two lines closer together, and Wayne gradually recalled the past, tracing the source and defeating fear.

Like many superheroes, there is a history full of twists and turns. Wayne's parents were shot and killed by a robber, and the young Wayne attributed the cause to his fear. And this fear produces hatred and anger, which makes Wayne want to shoot the criminal. What Duka has to do is to guide Wayne to use the power generated by anger correctly.

In Gotham City, Wayne found that crime can be seen everywhere, and it is not simple. The causes of crime are complicated in many aspects. Social corruption, justice was bought under his nose, he knew nothing about crime, and he was weak and fearless.

In order to fight crime, it is necessary to get close to understanding crime. The fear before the crime and the excitement after he succeeded were his feelings of the criminal's true psychology. Only by mastering the criminal's psychology and becoming the criminal's fear can justice be truly done, and this also converges with Duka's guidance.

Every step of Duka's teaching helped Wayne successfully create Batman later, and laid a solid foundation for how Batman was born. However, the plot of The Mystery of Xia Yingzhi is too labelled and the characters are not motivated to make the audience lose a certain degree of movie watching experience.

In prison, Duka’s motivation to help Wayne was not enough. Just because the motives for fighting crimes were similar, he taught Wayne his skills and thought that he would obey himself with all his heart. After receiving the true story, Wayne was almost almost completely obedient just because he found that his beliefs were different. Destroying the Kagemusha League with one person's power shows that the plot is too purposeful, one-sided in order to shape Batman's correct personality beliefs.

It may also be due to the adaptation of the comics, and to a certain extent, the compromise was made for the setting of the story and the plot. Fortunately, this does not affect the in-depth discussion of fear, crime, and heroes in the plot.

Regarding Gotham, nearly half of the regime was corrupt. Watching his colleagues help the triad boss commit crimes, Inspector Gordon was helpless. Even when he complained, there was no place to complain, and extortion was allowed to occur.

In this slightly sad situation, the appearance of Batman became Gotham's savior. Self-renewal and improvement time after time, gradually arouse more people to join the camp against criminals. After having enough power, it is also very easy to produce deviations.

After failing in the hands of the Scarecrow for the first time, he grabbed the Scarecrow again and immediately retaliated and lost his composure. In order to save Rachel, he disregarded public order and disrupted the traffic. Favoritism can easily become a villain.

Delivering justice and violent trials are never the same. While delivering justice, we also calmly thought about whether Batman is a hero or a monster.

Under the complicated human nature, Batman still faces many challenges. In the next episode, the clown who stands on the opposite side will once again provoke the fuse.

The interpretation of the "mystery" of the chivalrous shadow is sufficiently detailed, but Liam Neeson and the shadow dancers are too artificial, and the fall of Gotham in the second half of the battle is even more chaotic. The first encounter between the night and the sheriff (behind him) is an obvious borrowing of Tyrone Bower's "Marks of Zorro."
