Laughing Craftsman should be the most thorough one in this film. In the beginning, at the last moment when he was killed, what he said to forgive him was not because he did something wrong, but because he knew that millions of people were about to die, but he couldn't stop it. When the doctor killed the pregnant woman, he was also testing the doctor. He had obviously noticed that the doctor's feelings had already been higher than that of ordinary people.
