The hurricane is hitting New Orleans, USA, and a critically ill old woman opened her sleepy eyes. The old woman's name is Daisy (Cate Blanchett), and she asks her daughter Caroline (Julia Ormond) to read a diary for her. The author of this diary is Benjamin Button (played by Brad Pitt). Benjamin was born when the First World War ceased, but he was born like an old man by his father as a monster and was abandoned in a nursing home. Benjamin lives with the elderly in a nursing home. But no one thought that Benjamin developed reversely-the younger he lived, the younger! Perhaps "live and younger" is the dream of some people, but Benjamin, who has really grown up like this, has troubles and happiness that others can't understand. Through half a century of world change, Benjamin is in it, feeling feelings that others can't. Why did my mother let herself read this diary? What is the relationship between Benjamin Button and his mother? Carolyn fell into deep doubt and curiosity.

In fact, I was moved, and the moving point was wonderful.

A movie that explores life and time, it is touching. The setting of reverse development and rejuvenation seems fantastic, but in fact it has little effect. After all, the intersection of people is often just a section. Interspersed with American history without deliberately, more natural and atmospheric than [Forrest]. Special effects and makeup are excellent. You can be angry with everything around you like a mad dog, you can curse fate, but when the last moment comes, you have to calmly let go. (9.5/10)

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button quotes

  • Daisy: Would you still love me if I were old and saggy?

Benjamin Button: Would you still love ME if I were young and had acne? When I'm afraid of what's under the stairs? Or if I end up wetting the bed?

  • Thomas Button: [runs upstairs to see Caroline and his newborn but sees a room full of people and Caroline bleeding. Soon, the pastor enters the room] What are you doing here?

Dr. Rose: Thomas. It's Caroline. She's going to die.

Thomas Button: No. No, I want all of you out! Get away from her!

[runs to Caroline and takes her hand]

Thomas Button: I'm here. I came as soon as I could. The streets were wild. The war is over, Carrie.

Caroline Button: [whispers] Promise me he'll have a place.

Thomas Button: [confused] I... I promise.

[Caroline draws her last breath and dies]
