I finally had time to appreciate the pinnacle of the animation history, although I had to watch it three times due to work; the grandpa Gong’s brain is so big that it is admirable, and the freedom and beauty permeated with it is fascinating, both like a utopian fairy tale. Without losing the solemnity and mystery of religion, the characters are portrayed with distinct levels and full of personality. Although the plot is detached but unobtrusive, the cute things that pop out from time to time make people bear handsome. Of course, the most admired is Hisaishi Joe’s music, which seems to be able to bring You are wandering in the Three Realms.
The memory of the film is really profound. The old man can always remember his films. Spirited Away is looking at the tunnel, the hero in Princess Mononoke looks into the distance from the mountain, Kiki's delivery service Riki is flying in the night sky with the broadcast, and so on. The combination of pictures and music makes people feel comfortable, and these memorable pictures come to mind every time when the night is quiet. Needless to say extra words, thank you Gong Lao, the memory of this play will accompany us throughout our lives.
