[I was deeply moved by seeing Wes Anderson's work for the first time]
First of all, Wes Anderson's style is very suitable for making animations, abnormal installations, and out of logic shots. The preference for symmetrical composition and bright color elements are added to the entire movie to form a (no exaggeration) masterpiece. The special lens language not only does not make people act out, but adds a touch of fairy tale (fictional) beauty to the narrative of the movie.
The director did not abandon the narrative under his strong personal style. After several changes in the main body of the narrative, he told a beautiful and sad story, while the main characters spent a lot of time to shape it. The final result is a multi-faceted and complex Gustavo full of charisma; a relatively shallow but charming Mustafa; and a large number of facial characters (this is also where points are reduced).
After being permeated with retro style and romantic comedy atmosphere, the whole movie has a trace of sadness. How wonderful a person's life is. In the end, it still cannot withstand the passing and weathering of time, and the director (intangible or intentional) told him his choice: tell , Inheritance, memory.
Even after watching the Budapest Grand Hotel, I feel sad, I still like to list it as the most heartwarming movie this winter, but it is a pity not to see it on the big screen.
