"Black Swan" is full of supernatural phenomena such as horror and hallucinations. Many people define it as a thriller, and after reading it from a psychological perspective, we find that this is a very typical psychology film, everything. All come from the "repression" of the heroine. The heroine Nina is a senior ballerina who finds herself trapped in a state of competition with another dancer. As a major performance approached, many troubles also intensified, and she was not sure whether the competitor was a supernatural illusion, or just an illusion of herself. Nina lives with her dominant mother. Her mother was also a ballet dancer and exerted suffocating control over her. Before the new season of "Swan Lake", there are two candidates for the artistic director of "Swan Queen": Nina and Lily. This play requires an actress who can express the innocence of the white swan and the cunning and debauchery of the black swan. Nina is suitable for white swan, and Lily is simply the incarnation of black swan. They developed a tortuous, bizarre and even somewhat horrifying story in the competition. Ignore the plot for the time being, let's analyze the film from the perspective of psychology from the following aspects.

1. Why does Nina suppress herself? ——Absolute control of "narcissistic" mothers

Nina's mother was also a ballerina before. She gave birth to Nina after an unexpected pregnancy at the age of 28. She gave up her career for the sake of the child (in her own opinion). So she puts all hope on her daughter, and at the same time monitors all her behaviors, she is full of strong possessive and control desires for her. Then she really had to leave the dance company because she was pregnant? There is a dialogue between a mother and a daughter in the film that is very intriguing: the mother has always been concerned about whether her daughter is "taken advantage of" by the "fancy" man outside. The mother said: "I don't want you to be like me, in order to give birth to you. I gave up my career." My daughter replied helplessly: "You were 28 years old at that time, you just..." "What?" "Nothing."... We all know that if the ballerina is in If she hasn't played the leading role before the age of 30, then her age is actually "older" and it is difficult to have a day in her life. At this moment, her mother became pregnant and gave birth to Nina, so Nina became her excuse for giving up her career and not facing reality, and she kept using these words to prey on Nina emotionally-I am all because of you. Give up XXX, so you must listen to me! There is also a passage in the play that says: "You didn't want to learn ballet when you were young. I have been with you until now!" Before that, Nina dreamed that she was the "Queen of the Swan", and her mother's psychology immediately responded: That is Because of me, I forced you to learn, and you persisted until now to become the "Queen". Is this passage very familiar, your mother, or you are already a mother, have you ever said such a thing? The mother’s desire to control is also reflected in her—she completely designed Nina as a child who needs to rely on: she has always called Nina "good girl"; Nina’s room is mainly white and pink, and it is filled with cloth. Puppets and plush toys; Nina can't lock the door while sleeping, and put a music box with ballet music next to it when she sleeps-this is totally coaxing a child! The daughter is over 20 years old, and she is going to participate in the dance competition. The mother has repeatedly determined "Don't you want me to go with you?"; wake her up every morning, help her take off and dress her; disagree with her daughter to go out with friends... …These are all behaviors against a very small child. Nina resists a little, and she becomes angry and emotionally fluctuating. The most typical thing is that Nina was chosen to become the "Queen of Swans". Her mother bought a cake to celebrate. She cut a large piece, but Nina had anorexia and her stomach was uncomfortable and she didn't want to eat. At this time, the mother's first reaction was : "Then throw the cake in the trash can." Nina quickly apologized, and took a bite of the cream very hard, and reluctantly said "It's delicious" before her mother smiled. The mother is a strong woman who has a lot of mood swings and does not allow her children to say "no". This makes Nina strive for graceful and precise posture when dancing, but she has always been a dancer without a soul and without self. It can be seen from the above that the mother does not want Nina to grow up. If she has always been a child, she must always rely on "me", "I" is all right, she just wants to listen to me! This is a typical narcissistic personality. At the same time, this powerful mother was full of jealousy towards her daughter: Nina finally couldn't stand her control and broke out. The mother kept pulling her and said: "You are sick, you can't go, you can't." Nina finally couldn't stand her. "I can't? I am the Swan Queen, and you are nothing!" She believed that her daughter could not dance the Swan Queen, or she did not want her daughter to be the "Swan Queen". She was jealous of being so young, beautiful, and could be loved by thousands of people. The daughter of a "queen". At the end, Nina gave her mother a special look before committing suicide, and the envy and excitement in her eyes were unobstructed.

2. Nina's "Repression" and "Release" on Sex Let us first look at the first question: Why does Nina suppress "sex"? This problem still needs to go back to Nina's native family-the mother's control. Parents in the family have a great influence on their children. In the film, Nina’s mother is an "absolutely controlled" mother, and she herself has a certain degree of rejection of "sex": she has been confirming to her daughter whether she is "occupied" Cheap", I don’t want my daughter to be like her (unexpected pregnancy). At the same time, she has always regarded her daughter as a child, which also shows this point: children will not have sex, will not be pregnant, will not be exposed to "sex", so Nina is pure, pitiful, and not. The "white swan" who knows the world and has never had sex. When Nina challenged and said: "I have sex with several men, do you want to know their names?", her mother slapped her furiously and blocked her mouth. It can be seen that the mother herself is repulsive of "sex" and men, and she also passed all this to her daughter, making Nina believe that she should not have sexual behaviors and thoughts. But Nina, who is currently in adolescence, is naturally looking forward to and curious about "sex", but the concept conveyed by her mother is: "sex" is unclean, dirty, and should not be there, so she is extremely contradictory in her heart. And distortion, she bit her finger anxiously whenever she mentioned something related to "sex." But is it just because of anxiety? There are many scenes in the film showing Nina biting her finger, bleeding her finger, and even tearing off a long strip of the skin of her finger, bloody and bloody? Why does she keep "targeting" the index and middle fingers? In the field of psychology, the psychoanalytic school believes that the middle finger and index finger of a woman are representative of male officials, because women mostly use these two fingers when they are pregnant. That's why Nina is in all the clips about sex. The two fingers will always bleed, and even want to tear off or destroy them. This is actually evading all the possibilities of "sex".

Three, Nina's typical performance in the process of releasing herself

1. Nina went to the bathroom after she was not selected for the first time. She stood to urinate like a boy, which is enough to prove that Nina is breaking through the shackles and resisting the shackles. 2. On the way home, she saw a girl in black clothes. She was sexy, charming, and enchanting. She was a replica of the black swan. If you look closely, the girl is Nina herself. 3. Why are there wounds on Nina's back, and they all grow on the butterfly bones of the shoulder blades? I thought that was where she was about to grow "wings". At the end of the film, we can see that she danced on the stage and gradually became a real black swan, with black swan feathers and wings; and in the middle, she was in and The mother quarreled and pulled out a black feather from the broken wound on her back, suggesting that Nina is moving in the direction of releasing herself and has already taken the first step. 4. When Nina made kisses with men, went to nightclubs, etc. to release herself, there was always a voice that sounded a little dark, a little scary, which meant that the dark Nina had begun to wake up, and even began to invade Nina's sane range. 5. Nina’s "Spring Dream" is very interesting: When Nina and Lily came home from the nightclub, Nina and Lily had a sex scene. This "sex scene" was very interesting. There were two trances when Nina saw Lily as Self, that beautiful, sexy and even a little slutty self. Although this is an illusion, we can see that the "black swan" is slowly showing itself, and it merges with the "white swan", which is close to perfection.
