A richly detailed NASA promo that tells the story of survival on a deserted island

Compared with most movies on the theme of self-help in the wilderness, perhaps the biggest difference in this film is that there is almost no deliberate emotional rendering. This can basically be said to be consistent with the original, including Mark's humorous character image. The main purpose of the original writing was to use scientific reasoning to give a reasonable survival story on Mars-a very typical GEEK idea. The reader group was originally a variety of hard science fiction fans. As for the plot, emotion is not so important.
The movie can do this, and I have to mention the original author Andy Weir. Wilburn is not a professional writer. As a programmer, he used to work at Blizzard and wrote code for Warcraft II. As the son of a particle physicist, Will grew up in the science fiction novels of Asimov and Clark. I believe that this kind of childhood nurtured by science fiction in the golden age gave him the foundation for writing hard science fiction.
Space-themed movies often do not need to set up a story that is endlessly repetitive, or a deep and sublime core, because space itself is the best background for the coexistence of greatness and thrills.
Following gravity, the Chinese team once again turned the tide! Although the plot is quite embarrassing, most Chinese audiences should still be quite useful. In the film, I saw Sister Shu inexplicably proud, although the lines were a bit cautious, after all, going abroad is still stressful.
Generally speaking, I like this movie very much. Ridley Scott, as a superb director of sci-fi and epic films, has finally given a satisfactory and satisfying report after the continuous downturn in recent years. Surprise answer sheet.

Melissa Lewis: All right team, stay in sight of each other. Let's make NASA proud today.

Rick Martinez: How's it looking over there, Watney?

Mark Watney: Well, you will be happy to hear that in Grid Section 14-28, the particles were predominately coarse but in 29, they're much finer and they should be ideal for chem analysis.

Rick Martinez: Oh, wow. Did everybody hear that? Mark just discovered dirt.

    [laughs]

Rick Martinez: Should we alert the media?

  • Bruce Ng: Mars' atmosphere is so thin, by the time the ship's going fast enough for air resistance to matter, it'll be high enough that there's practically no air.

Vincent Kapoor: You want to send him into space under a tarp?

Bruce Ng: Yes... Can I go on?

    Vincent Kapoor: [frustrated look] NO.
