The film "The Pianist" shot by Polish director Roman Polanski is based on the autobiographical novel "Dead City" by Polish pianist Varadiszro Spiman. Won the 75th Academy Awards for Best Picture nomination; the 55th Cannes Film Festival main competition unit Palme d'Or and the 27th Japan Film Academy Awards. Polanski's work is a classic. "Tess" and "Chinatown" have a large audience in China. "The Pianist", which has been meticulously carved in three years, is a private fictional film depicting Jewish concentration camps. During World War II, Polanski was mercilessly involved in the storm of the times and suffered all the hardships. In the end, he escaped from the concentration camp in Poland alone and survived tenaciously. This old man in his seventies, looking back at the past, facing the human catastrophe more than 60 years ago and the huge pain in his own memory, Polanski released the masterpiece "The Pianist". An excellent movie worth watching.
