This film is adapted from the light novel "All you need is kill" by Japanese writer Sakura Sakahiro. The background of the story is set in the near-future earth. In a full-scale alien invasion war, Cage (played by Tom Cruise) is sent to the beach of the landing battle, repeating his defeated death every day Fierce battle. He had never received any military training, but he was sent to the front to fight the enemy. This was undoubtedly a suicide operation. At the moment when he died frequently, he unexpectedly gained the ability to travel through the corridor of time and space, allowing him to repeat the cycle of life and death again and again, returning to the battlefield again and again. With each waking up, Bill has a deeper experience in warfare. He understands the enemy's weaknesses more and more, and his survival time on the battlefield is longer and longer. Under the devil training of "Battlefield Valkyrie" Rita (Emily Blunt), his fighting ability has improved by leaps and bounds. The two fought side by side, finally giving this hopeless war a glimmer of victory. But Cage also faces a painful choice...
Relying on creativity to win, the battle scenes are honestly filmed very ordinary, the scenes are chaotic and the narrative is broken, Tom's acting skills have improved, Emily Blunt is still so good, I really can't see her before I watch the actor Biao.
I thought it was a sci-fi blockbuster, but after Brother Tom woke up over and over again, he discovered the novelty of the film and the idea of the screenwriter. This made up for the lack of filming in the plot. It is still a good film.
