Panic in American society

The connotation of the film is like the title suggests, trying to show the panic of American society. Not only does the greed for money trigger crime, the film reveals "crime is everywhere" in the details. The cowboy’s personal resistance was ineffective. Although he was tough, he eventually died in a gun battle. From the police, we felt that various violent crimes abound. Although there is no lack of wisdom and experience, the police detectives are still helpless against these crimes (in the end, they can only Reluctant to retire); the killer's unbridled killing scared us, but even such a cruel and principled killer, in the end, he was inevitably hurt by a car accident! No one has a way to escape, "Old Nowhere", this society is really not suitable for living.
