The cruelty of Germany, the betrayal of Britain and France, Russia’s disregard for Poland’s isolated war, justice is just an illusory banner. Pain is real and personal. To see what the movie expresses requires a bit of historical common sense; in the end, the appearance of German officers gave hope to the whole. The loss of the above does not mean that the individual’s humanity is lost. Simple and profoundly critical, but fair. The style I like is deeply sympathetic to the Jews, but it does not mean that they are innocent. Thumbs up
