A Movie About Freedom And Hope

"Some birds are destined not to be kept in cages, because every piece of their feathers shines with the light of freedom." Andy locked the radio room to play "Le Figaro's Wedding" that really made me excited. He is such a person, no matter what, rules can only lock his body, but absolutely cannot lock his soul! Only oneself can save oneself.
Perhaps each of us is a prisoner in Shawshank Prison. Some have already painted the ground as a prison, and since then they have resigned themselves to fate, some have always had hopes, waiting for the rebirth of Nirvana, some will interpret life with perseverance, some will end their lives under pressure...Life is to redeem themselves or redeem The alternation of others is the choice between being busy with life or being busy with death.
I guess it comes down to a simple choice: get busy living or get busy dying

"There is hope in life", there is nothing wrong with it, when Lao Bo committed suicide I was thinking that he should go back to prison to spend the rest of his days, but when Andy finally got out, it was so beautiful, man, really You have to have hope to live happily and bravely. When I was disappointed, I remembered this film, and I remembered how hard he tried to get out, and I felt that I could break out of the siege and stand up again. It was really inspirational.

Because in 1994, Taiwan introduced a relatively popular old film The Sting, which was mistranslated into "Stimulation". When the film was released in 1995, the film maker felt that its plot was similar to "Stimulation" (probably both belonged to the revenge of high IQ?), so it was translated into "Stimulation 1995". In 1998, there was another film Return To. Paradise was translated into "Excitement 1998" because of the prison plot!

The Shawshank Redemption quotes

  • Red: [narrating] Not long after the warden deprived us of his company, I got a postcard in the mail. It was blank, but the postmark said Fort Hancock, Texas. Fort Hancock... right on the border. That's where Andy crossed. When I picture him heading south in his own car with the top down, it always makes me laugh. Andy Dufresne... who crawled through a river of shit and came out clean on the other side. Andy Dufresne... headed for the Pacific.

  • Andy Dufresne: [in a letter to Red] Dear Red. If you're reading this, you've gotten out. And if you've come this far, maybe you're willing to come a little further. You remember the name of the town, don't you?

    Red: Zihuatanejo.

Andy Dufresne: I could use a good man to help me get my project on wheels. I'll keep an eye out for you and the chessboard ready. Remember, Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. I will be hoping that this letter finds you, and finds you well. Your friend. Andy.
