The characters in the story: Andy, Red and his party, the warden, the sexual assailant, the young man behind (forgot what he called, he is also the key figure for Andy to make the decision), the old prisoner who gave the book.
One of the most impressive things in the film
It was what Andy and Red said when they were sitting there eating. Andy said: Hope is the best thing in the world. Never give up hope. Red said: Hope is the most terrible thing in this place (referring to the prison), there can be no hope. Maybe it's because red has been in prison for too long, maybe red itself is such a person... it needs everyone to experience it by themselves.
of two
Andy found a record while helping the warden to pack up the files, so when the warden went to the toilet, he ran to the broadcasting room to play the record and locked the door. When the music sounded, the prisoners working on the playground seemed to see the sun in the sky and felt the beauty, and Andy himself was lying on the chair and enjoying listening... Red said: Some birds have so beautiful feathers. Cages cannot be closed, they will fly out sooner or later.
The third
Andy confessed everything to Red, or it should explain everything. Yes, Andy was wronged. He may have been at the thought of murder, but he loved his wife very much and didn't kill her.
Of four
It is knowledge is power. Andy actually used that little hammer to gouge through a secret tunnel, and it didn't take 600 years as Red said. When I saw this, I was really amazed at how great knowledge is.
Of course, there are too many impressive plots in the film, so I won't list them all...you need to feel this classic film for yourself.
