The content of this movie, about personality, about friendship, about family relationships, and of course, about the plot and base love, everyone has discussed countless times, I will not follow the trend anymore.
Here to talk about this movie, or some of the action design of the Marvel movie.
As a superhero movie, heroes go to heaven and earth to punish evil and promote good, often with fists and swords.
But today when film production technology is advancing by leaps and bounds, heroes of all walks of life are bombarded and bombarded all the same, and finally they have reached a lacklustre situation.
By this movie, all the action scenes are fragmented, and there is rarely a coexistence of offense and reaction in the same scene. Often the offensive action is performed in one shot, and the opponent's reaction is already in another shot.
There are two overall reasons for this.
First, it is necessary for the plot of the movie. The background of "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is the universe. The universe is vast and boundless, and every change of location requires a spaceship to jump several cosmic spaces to reach it. Under the background of this ultra-long cosmic scale, the fighting between individuals is already insignificant, and the combined combat is no longer enough to stand up to the grand pattern of the universe. It can only be matched with the performance of spacecraft and long-range firearms. . As a result, almost all character actions lose their individuality, and they are reduced to an embarrassing situation of bombardment with weapons.
Second, this is the limitation of technology. As a big investment production, cool special effects have become standard. Every shot needs the hard work of stunt staff to be presented. But the integration of thousands of special effects shots is a huge project. The difficulty of making coherent action scenes in the same frame is far greater than that of split-shot production, and the action can only be divided into production. One is to reduce the difficulty, the second is to improve efficiency, and the third is to make the details of the action clearer. Although this way of expression has many advantages, it cuts the picture and has poor coherence. This shortcoming is also very obvious.
In "Guardians of the Galaxy 2", Yongdu's flying arrows are unique and very distinctive. But these are all special effects shots, and you can clearly see the traces of each shot being made independently.
In fact, I still like the action scenes in "Captain America 2". The fierce, swift, and real characteristics are shown to the fullest, and the feeling of punching to the flesh looks very enjoyable. But this action feature disappeared in "US Team 3", and it became the same as "Galaxy", a bit erratic and unreal. Especially during the airport battle, the action that was supposed to be hot used a lot of slow motion, which made the fierce fight feel romantic and looked awkward.
The same is true of "Galaxy 2".
The development of movie special effects has made it possible to present gorgeous scenes on the cinema screen, but the character and breath of the character as a person are gradually drifting away in the development of technology.
The characters in "Galaxy", the director portrays them more real, let them be separated from superheroes, let them be closer to our real human beings. But in the performance of movement and strength, he still can't get away from the gimmick of super power.
