Not as good as the media commented

The classification of this movie is thriller and horror, I am afraid it will disappoint some audiences who want to watch this type of movie.

The lens language of the film is very mature. In the first half of the presentation, the rhythm is restrained and suspenseful, but it does not reach the frightening situation, or even the atmosphere of horror. The audience is the same as the male protagonist (I don't even remember what the male protagonist is called) in the ordinary details of life, and it feels strange. The audience did not get more information, so they could not feel more oppressive to the actor's situation. Fortunately, the context of the suspense setting is clear. The director successfully locked the audience’s attention to the pre-set doubts. This also destined that the ending of the film will not be too much reversed. After all, the breadcrumbs left by the director. The child is too big.

The real collapse of the movie was after the protagonist was caught. Obviously, this gang is not an experienced organization. After all, the incident happened after only three operations. The hero who was helped by us was almost wiped out. In the second half of the movie, the audience's biggest surprise is probably the inferiority of the plot, which makes the previous presentations seem to have lost their original persuasiveness.

The design of hypnosis is still a novelty ten years ago, but after the audience has watched various psychological crimes for so many years, the hypnosis shown in the film is obviously not convincing. And when the protagonist escapes from the underground operating room and meets the hypnotic mother-in-law, the moment his eyes meet, he thinks of breaking the hypnotic coffee cup. To be honest, I really laughed when I saw this paragraph.

In addition, the villain’s groups and their members are obviously the elite class of society, but their ultimate goal is only to continue their partial consciousness, and the three completed "finished products" are obviously not perfect, and they are not stable products. This kind of goal does not convince me. Maybe I still can't understand the thinking of the elite. Maybe people are more afraid of death when they reach a more prosperous state.

The reversal of the heroine makes me feel short and redundant. In the first half of the plot, the heroine acts as the protector of the hero. The director is destined to break this protection to create a sense of fear. But just a simple reversal of the heroine obviously did not meet this expectation. My assumption is that the heroine is the bait released by the family. It may be an innocent girl selected by the gang to complete the task after hypnosis. At the climax of the movie, it is set to break the protection of the heroine against the heroine at the same time, and Increase the burst point set on the heroine. Will it be more powerful?

If some unconvincing plot driving points in the movie are barely acceptable, the introduction of racial issues is the most unacceptable setting for me. The director put the racial issue into the film and obviously did not intend to solve it, or even intend to discuss it. The racial issue has become a way for the director to stir up the emotions of the audience. This is no longer an infancy. The director's own views on racial issues seem to be arrogant and immature. The ending of the film has become a catharsis of excitement. If the director was concerned about social issues and expressed desires from the beginning, this ending has completely reduced the film to a low-handed commercial film.

...It's no wonder that I think too much. Uh, after all, the reputation in the US is so good. After reading it, I feel...what is this...

All four stars give the heroine-bing a goal, and he will be able to take it home in five months. Is it okay to have the ability to start a class?
