Ignoring the transitional rendering of heroism and the traditional clichés of sci-fi legendary films, this out-and-out Hollywood movie does not forget to bring some ironic warmth. What is unclear is whether this film was made by warmth or destroyed by warmth. It's like a desolate city, whether it was destroyed by humans or it was made by humans. I can't tell, I don't know the way, I always feel that it is unreasonable and unsuitable to favor either side. A person’s story, two clues, reality and the past two narrative lines of time go in opposite directions, explaining how New York changed from a prosperous metropolis to a desolate wasteland, and how Naifo broke away from his happy family and became the only one in the world. Survivor. Every time the watch sounds, every time a narrative montage appears, every time he opens his eyes after waking up from a nightmare, Naifo, who was originally lonely, is constantly struggling back and forth between the past realities. It seems that the only human being saved by God continues to live legendarily in an unmanned world. In the vicissitudes of life, the years will rob him of his youth sooner or later, and his life will inevitably have a moment of freeze. One is a virus-infected person who feeds on human blood, and the other is a single-handed Nefer. This competition between groups and individuals is really dare not to be too imaginative. But for him, he had to complete a legend of the War of Resistance in a limited time! As an insulator, Naifo seems to have become the only normal person in this world. He will be at the dock on time and wait for the broadcaster to arrive. He will regard Sam as an important friend. He will forget to talk to the masked man alone. He will play golf on the plane. He can use jewelry as his curtain decoration. In an uninhabited city, he can do any unreasonable things unscrupulously. The freedom and loneliness of Kongcheng belong to him. When we comfortably imagine the beauty of all this under the guidance of the director, Naifo's destiny once again becomes the poor focus. Sam died in his arms, just as painful as when he witnessed his wife and children die in front of him last time. The physical and psychological double blow made life hopeless, without pillars, and breathless. The film here is completely tragic. The legend lies in the only Nefer. For him, the legend is only synonymous with misery. When I was fed up, I thought about it, but when the drama conflict reached its peak, the director had another plan. Nefer was rescued, and a woman and a boy were alive and healthy. The first time I saw a human being, the wharf that had been waiting for was no longer empty, and when hope was ignited again, he would no longer be the same as before. Her arrival unknowingly brought him back to daily life. In front of the person most afraid of losing, the arrival of this role is indeed a help in the snow. In this film, there are indeed many commendable points when it comes to excellence, and it can be said to be full of loopholes when it comes to inferiority. For example, the superfluous plot really makes the film fall into Hollywood style routines. Since the director has set a sad and invincible abyss for the audience, why bother to cross a foot when he is extremely happy, so that there is neither a sad Yaxing nor the possibility of entering the drama. After being rescued "together", I completely jumped out of the scene, and I am not very interested in what happens later or what will happen. In fact, it is what the audience hoped for Naifo to be rescued by someone else, but the too direct narrative and the plot development of too routine do not deserve too much praise for it. Maybe it’s been a long time of sadness, and I don’t feel that the longing that I once had is a good ending. American science fiction films are indispensable for heroes and struggle. There are always some imaginary things that only belong to Hollywood, but more or less, innovation is the opposite of Hollywood. There are differences in similarities, and similarities in differences. I hope that the breakthrough era of so-called science fiction films can come faster and more violently.
