I think JK Rowling wrote his life's wisdom and love into this novel. When Harry finally asked Dumbledore if what had happened was true, Dumbledore's answer was yes. If you still see "Harry Potter" as a fictional fantasy or fairy tale movie, then you don't seem to understand the true meaning of this movie and novel.
I have excerpted some memorable dialogues that appeared in the movie. Through these dialogues, perhaps you can understand that this is a movie about life and death and choice, love and growth, friendship and family, hope and degeneration.
The first "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone"
1. At the beginning of the film, Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall appear on Privet Road, near Harry’s Aunt Petunia’s house, waiting for Hagrid to appear:
McGonagall (Professor McGonagall): Do you think it wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this?
Dumbledore: Professor, I would trust Hagrid with my life. (I can entrust my life to him, professor)
2. Professor McGonagall thought it was inappropriate to entrust Harry to his terrible Muggle aunt and uncle, and was a little worried about this, but Dumbledore did not think so:
Dumbledore: He's far better off growing up away from all of that until he's ready. Wouldn't it be better for him to grow up away from fame and turmoil? Until he can accept it all
3. Harry and Ron were late for class for the first time. They walked into the classroom and did not see Professor McGonagall. When they were rejoicing, the cat on the desk became Professor McGonagall:
Ron (Ron): That's bloody brilliant! (Ron's mantra bloody...) (This trick is so cool!)
McGonagall: Thanks for your assement, Weasley.Perhaps it would be more useful if I were to transfigure Mr Potter and yourself into a pocket watch. Then one of you might be on time. (Thank you for your evaluation, Weasley. Maybe I It is more useful to turn you and Mr. Potter into pocket watches, at least one of you can go to class on time)
Harry: We got lost.
McGonagall: Then perhaps a map? I trust you don't need one to find your seats.
4. Snape's introduction to potions when he was teaching new students in the potions department:
Snape (Professor Snape): As such, I don't expect many of you to appreciate the subtle science and exact art that it is potion-making. However, for those select few who possess the predisposition. I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the sense. I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory and even put a stopper in death. , For the few talented elites, I will teach you how to make people feel excited and confused; I will teach you how to increase your reputation, brew honor, and even prevent death.)
5. Harry was addicted to the Mirror of Eris, and Dumbledore advised him:
Dumbledore:Back again?Harry? I see that you, like many before you have discovered the delights of the Mirror of Erised. I trust by now you realize what it does. Let me give you a clue. The happiest man on earth would look in the mirror and see only himself exactly as he is Function, let me give you a reminder, the happiest people in the world can only see themselves when they look in the mirror)
Harry:So then it shows us what we want.Whatever we want desires of our heart. Now you ,harry, who have never known your family, you see them standing beside you. But remember this, harry, this mirror gives us neither knowledge or truth. Men have wasted away in front of it.Even gone mad.I ask you not to go looking for it again. It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live. You have never seen your family, so you see your parents standing by your side, but remember, Harry, this mirror neither reflects knowledge nor conveys the truth. People spend their time in front of it, or even go crazy. .I hope you don’t look for it again, don’t indulge in illusory dreams and forget the real life)
6. After the first round of battle with Voldemort, Harry found and guarded the Sorcerer's Stone. Harry, who was resting in the school hospital, asked Dumbledore for his doubts:
Dumbledore:Harry, do you know professor Quirrell couldn't bear to have you touch him? It was because of your mother, she sacrificed herself for you. And that kind of act leaves a mark. No ,this kind of mark cannot be seen . It lives in your very skin.( Harry, do you know why Professor Quirrell can’t stand you touching him? Because of your mother, he sacrificed himself to save you. This behavior left a mark. No, this mark It is invisible, it grows in every inch of your skin)
Harry: what is it? What is it?
Dumbledore: Love, harry, Love love, Harry, love!
7. The first year has passed, and when the House Cup was selected, Neville won the most critical 10 points for Gryffindor to win the Academy Cup.
Dumbledore: Finally, it takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies, but great deal more to stand up to your friends.I award 10 points to Neville Longbottom. We all need great courage to face the enemy, but It takes more courage to stand firm in front of friends. I will give Neville Longbottom very much!
Part Two: Harry Potter and the Vanishing Chamber
1. Dumbledore told harry why the Sorting Hat chose to assign him to Slytherin Academy
Dumbledore:It's true.harry. you possess many of the qualities the Votdemort himself prizes.Determination,resourcefulness..and if I may say so, a certain disregard for the rules. Why then, did the Sorting Hat place you in Gryffindor? No Wrong, Harry, you do have some characteristics that Voldemort is proud of, fortitude, courage, resourcefulness, and lack of compliance with established plans. But why did the Sorting Hat assign you to Gryffindor?
Harry: Because I ask it to.
Dumbledore: Exactly, harry,Exactly. Whicn makes you different from Voldermort. It is not our abilities that show what we truly are. It is our choices. By the way, Harry, this is where you are different from Voldermort, decided What kind of person we become is not our ability, but our choice.
