With new hope, Rogue One.

Originally, I didn't report any hope for "Rogue One". As a Star Wars fan, I was really hurt by Star Wars VII too deeply. Coupled with the addition of Donnie Yen and Jiang Wen, I feel even more that this is another silly Star Wars fan work. However, as a Star Wars fan, I couldn't help but ran into the theater, ready to complain. But I found myself wrong too far, this is really a movie more like the orthodox Star Wars than Star Wars VII.

The story line of this film is between the Star Wars prequel and the main story, and it is also between Star Wars III and Star Wars IV. As we all know, in "Star Wars IV: A New Hope", the empire used this one-strike to destroy a planet's Death Star to deal with the planet that rebelled against its own. The Rebels had a structure diagram of the Death Star in their hands. The protagonist Luke also relied on this structure map and used his superb flying skills to drop bombs into the Death Star's death hole only two meters wide, detonate the nuclear reactor, and blow up the Death Star. And this vital structure of the Death Star and the Death Star’s death hole is the story told by Rogue One.

"Rogue One" only exists as Star Wars' first rumored film, which is deliberately distinguished from traditional Star Wars. There is no traditional title and soundtrack of Star Wars, only the traditional subtitles and iconic music appear at the end of the film. There were no Jedi Knights, and of course no lightsaber fights, but Darth Vader's lightsaber came out in the end. But once said that without lightsaber, it is not a Star Wars at all, but I think this is a movie that truly inherits the feeling of Star Wars.

There are lightsabers and Jedi in Star Wars Seven, Han Solo Chubacca, Princess Leia and Luke, R2D2 and C3PO, Millennium Falcon, and too many Star Wars elements. But it gave me the feeling that it just blended these Star Wars elements together and re-enacted the story of "Star Wars IV: A New Hope", and the story was so bloody. Everywhere in the film makes people feel that this is not Star Wars. Even the much-anticipated lightsaber duel has lost the sense of ritual and fancy swordsmanship. Only two people are left to cut and cut in a simple and rude way, losing the Jedi Knights. Temperament and sense of mission.

(Some Star Wars fans think that the lightsaber duel of Star Wars VII is true to the old trilogy, but I still like the fancy of the prequel. I personally think that the lightsaber of the prequel is so conservative because it is limited to technology and action, and even if the prequel is light The sword showdown is also very ritual)

On the other hand, "Rogue One", there is no Jedi and lightsaber, but the film allows everyone to see that everyone is full of admiration for the Force and Jedi. The Jedi Knights are in a state of just being wiped out. There are no Jedi Knights in the world. Only Obi-Wan and Master Yoda live in the mountains and wait for opportunities. But the hope of the Force has not disappeared. It inspires every volunteer, and people still stubbornly hope that the Jedi Knights can return with the Force and save the world. The role played by Donnie Yen is one of them. He is a blind monk who believes in the Force and works with Jiang Wen dressed as a bounty hunter. He eventually joins Rogue One and rebels against the empire. I have to say that their performance in the film did not eclipse the film, on the contrary, it added a lot of color. Especially Jiang Wen said that Donnie Yen’s sentence "There is no Jedi, just a dreamer." makes people impressed by this force believer. .

Hope in the film, that is, hope, is mentioned a lot, everyone is fighting for Hope. When I watched "Star Wars IV: A New Hope", I never thought that this new hope came from Rogue One. They used their belief in changing the world to continue this hope, and it was this new hope that ultimately Let Luke throw that bomb, let the Death Star be wiped out, and change the fate of the entire galaxy.

If you want Star Wars fans to score, the full score of the film must be the end of the film. The long-awaited Sir Alex took out the lightsaber and appeared on the spaceship, killing a group of rebels in seconds. This is the lightsaber that every Star Wars fan wants to see. The ending blueprint was handed to the princess. The princess smiled and turned around. The CG-synthesized princess Leia is still so friendly. Seeing this, I think of Kelly Fisher, who has just passed away, and I really can’t help but feel the heat in front of my eyes. It’s true for the last moment. Need a second brush.

Let’s talk about the easter eggs I found in the film, let Star Wars fans talk about it.
Tarkin appears in the film as this thin Death Star commander. The actor has long passed away. His image in the film is all CG composites.

The phrase "I have a bad feeling about this" said by K2 is a line that will appear in every Star Wars. R2D2 and C3PO also appeared for two seconds.

The Jedi friends and messengers mentioned by Organa and the Rebels refer to Obi-Wan and Princess Leia respectively. Princess Leia is also the adopted daughter of Organa. Organa was later destroyed by the Death Star along with his planet.

The face-faced man who was cut off by Obi-Wan and his companions also appeared in Rogue One

In the film Darth Vader starts to choke people on the neck again with the Force, and he does it in every movie. At the end of the film, Sir Alex took out the lightsaber and chopped melons and vegetables. Perhaps it was the climax of every Star Wars fan. It might be the last time to see Sir Alex fighting on the big screen again.

It'sa trap, the classic lines of Star Wars also appear in this movie.

Darth Vader's voice is still the voice of the Black Warrior, James Earl Jones, he and Kelly Fisher made a guest appearance in the Big Bang Theory.

Princess Leia, who appeared last in the film, is a CG made according to the appearance of Kelly Fisher. Kelly Fisher died of a heart attack on December 28, 2016. May the force be with her. Rest in peace...

Star Wars 7 gave me enough damage, but I recovered a lot from Rogue One. I only hope that Star Wars 8 will not let me down. This is Princess Leia’s posthumous work, JJ Abrams, you But think about it.

3.5 It feels better than 7. Although the plot is just a few sets of actions, the villains are not only stupid and fighting, but they also don’t understand what Jiang Wen and Yen’s CP want to do, but it mainly explains how a few more important fans are very important. Questions of concern 1. Why is Darth Vader’s painstaking work Death Star (aka Glass Star) such a tofu project 2. How does Darth Vader take a bath...?
